The Chesapeake House

At The Chesapeake House, the comforts of home meet the convenience of the city! After touring downtown (10 min away) or the local neighborhoods of Fremont, Ballard, or Queen Anne, come home to a full, eat-in kitchen with beautiful views and outside patio. Our tastefully appointed, lower-level home offers more than 600sq ft of privacy & comfortable accommodations. We are in a residential area near bus lines and walking distance to bars, shops, music venues, grocery stores & more. The space Our home is perfect for solo adventurers, couples, business travelers, and small families, centrally located between the two hot Seattle neighborhoods of Fremont and Ballard, where coffee shops, restaurants/bars, farmers markets, and boutique shopping abound. We are also tucked up high in a residential area with great views and 3 nearby parks and the Woodland Park Zoo (great for little ones) and 12 craft breweries and winery (for the bigger ones) - all within a mile radius! The home is 600 sq feet and includes a bedroom, kitchen with all major appliances, a full bathroom with double vanity, and large living space with 42" TV and DirecTV. In the living room is a comfortable sectional. Easy street parking and the safety of a friendly neighborhood makes our place warm and authentic. Whether you order food delivered from our local Frelard Pizza or do a night dining out at the award-winning Revel or an Ethan Stowell or Tom Douglas neighborhood favorite, you can't go wrong staying at The Chesapeake House. If you are traveling with your child and need supplies, don't hesitate to ask. Please let us know prior to your stay if you will need a high chair or pack and play for your little one! And if you do stay in, the full kitchen, DirecTV with the NFL Sunday Ticket as well as DVD and book libraries, and other comforts of home make The Chesapeake House your home away from home. Guest access A private patio with bistro set and grill, street parking, and separate well-lit entrance into a private unit with 600 sq ft of living space. Guests have washer-dryer, dishwasher, and free street parking and wifi. Bikes can be arranged for rental for an additional fee (ask hosts for details). Other things to note ***BEFORE BOOKING - PLEASE READ - IMPORTANT*** Based on past feedback, we feel it is important to include additional notes. If you have any questions before or during your stay, please do not hesitate to ask us. Our aim is for you to a have a 5 STAR stay with us! We live above the unit in the main house. The unit is pet friendly and while we have professional cleaners that will completely deodorizes the unit, sensitive noses may have issues. The second bed is a futon and in the common area. It is queen sized and sleeps two very comfortably. Linens for the futon are in the tall dresser in the bedroom. In our main house, we live with our two dogs and a cat. The dogs are confined to our home and has no access to the unit. The cat is an indoor/outdoor cat and may occasionally try to sneak into the unit. We ask during your stay to please remove the cat if he tries to enter - no matter how cute and friendly he thinks he is. While the water dispenser and ice tray are not operational on the fridge, a filtered water jug and ice trays are provided in the unit.
