Detached house with parking in the heart of Whitstable, a stroll from the BEACH & town with its bespoke shops, enchanting restaurants, the cafe culture hub of Harbour Street, The Neptune Public House on the beach & stylish harbour all amidst a really trendy quaintessential seaside town. The property is very flexible with its accommodation. It can accommodate up to 7 adults in the main house a further 4 in the Thai inspired self contained house with en suite facilities and separate WC. The space Tara's place is located in Whitstable, Kent, United Kingdom. It can sleep 6 in the main house and an additional 3 adults in the separate Thai House ( available on request only) Please asj if the Thai House is available for your dates. Thank you. About Whitstable.... Whitstable is a vibrant area, with excellent local pubs including a few micro pubs such as the Black Dog, the Handsome Sam and the Tankerton Arms which add to the charm. The Neptune pub on the beach is a popular place to watch sunsets and hear live music and The Duke of Cumberland and Rock Lodge have events and music most weekends. The Umbrella centre has a café and gardens and monthly farmer’s market and various vintage/craft markets on throughout the year. Stream Walk Trust community garden is a place where people can come for gardening and crafts several times a week. Whitstable has a variety of boutique shops for clothes, quirky gifts and the working harbour and market is open most weekends and weekdays during the summer. Whitstable Castle & Gardens has the Orangery Tea Rooms for lunch or afternoon tea and opposite is Tower Hill tea garden, an old-fashioned tea hut set in wonderful gardens that are set above the 'street' shingle bank in Whitstable. The Hotel Continental is a family run hotel on the seafront and is a short walking distance to the Harbour and the High Street. It has a public Brasserie and Bar overlooking the beach and the Thames Estuary that specialises in local produce and the Famous Whitstable Oyster. The Whitstable Shop and Visitor Information service provides information on all things Whitstable and beyond, and offers a wide range of leaflets, books, cards, postcards, souvenirs and gifts. We have a wide range of restaurants catering for all tastes from local seafood, Vegan, Mexican, Thai, Indian and Chinese and some great local delis for your picnic on the beach. There are several Fish and Chip shops in town and along the seafront and sitting on the beach watching glorious sunsets is a perfect place to relax and chill with a picnic and glass of wine or beer. The West Beach is a great place to get local oysters and seafood from The Forge or the Harbour and then sit on the beach, go for a swim, make a grotter or go crabbing (crabbing Lines and buckets are free to pick up and return outside the Horsebridge Centre.) The Sportsman, award winning upmarket seaside gastropub utilising local seafood and tasting menus is a short distance away at Faversham Rd, Seasalter, Whitstable. The main house accommodates 6 adults very comfortably. In the master bedroom there is a superking bed with a luxurious Temper mattress for a wonderful nights sleep. In the adjacent bedroom there is another SUPERKING bed with a hypo-allergenic mattress (this room can easily be converted to a TWIN ROOM) and in the last of the three bedrooms there also a super king bed or this can be split to make two single beds in this room also . Each bedroom has bespoke wooden blinds so the bedrooms shut out the light. In One of the bedrooms there is a pull out bed which can easily sleep another person - preferably a child. There is additional accommodation with this booking that sleeps a further 3 adults above 6 in the main house. This is in the self contained Thai House with En suite facilities - hot bath and shower with hot running water from the basin. This has one double bed and one single bed. There is also a pull out bed to sleep additional child. Inside the Thai house is a Sky TV with netflix, prime TV. The toilet is in a separate building a short walk along the gravel path from the Thai House -Very private dwelling in Private garden. This is well lit at night. Dressing gowns and flip flops are provided for your comfort. The Thai House has its own seating area on the Varandah as well as its own garden with a fire pit and a smokey Joe BBQ. (small fee for BBQ). Guest access Entrance is through the main door at the front of the house. The Thai house remains a separate private dwelling with its own private entrance, bathroom kitchen amenities TV with netflix and SKY and seated varandah, outside dining area and gated garden. EASY SELF CHECK IN OR MEET AND GREET CHOICE IS YOURS ! Other things to note The fourth bedroom is a stunning Thai inspired house nestled in the Garden by an enchanting Eucalyptus tree. This accommodation is available for additional guests, up to 3 adults plus one child on a pull out bed.. The Thai house is a very private annexe and has its own En Suite bathroom with running HOT water to bath basin and Shower. The Toilet and second basin are separate and a short walk along a well lit gravel path. Very Private accommodation nestled amongst beautiful private garden. If you are a small booking of less than 6 guests the Thai house will incur a supplement.
