Renovated in 2017, it is perfect for couples to escape to the country. There is a large double bedroom with countryside views, a modern bathroom, cosy sitting room with TV and woodburner and a quirky kitchen/diner. Vineyard tours and tastings, great walks and good pubs from the door. The space A lovely cosy, thatched cottage for 2 people set in the beautiful Teign Valley. Downstairs: a fully equipped quirky kitchen/diner leads into a comfortable sitting room with squidgy sofas to sink into whilst enjoying the woodburner or watching TV. Heading up the original C17 staircase ( it's quite steep and uneven) leads to a large, luxurious, double bedroom with uninterrupted views of the countryside. The new bath suite has a good bath with a shower over it. Guest access The cottage has it's own small garden with table and chairs, perfect for a glass of wine on a sunny evening. There is access to the surrounding fields for dog walks or head down to the river for a bbq or a swim. There is parking directly outside the cottage and it is accessed by its own drive off the main road, shared with the next door cottage. Other things to note We are happy to welcome dogs to Rose Cottage. The garden is fenced but not securely. However the cottage is surrounded by fields so nowhere to run off to really. Please note the staircase is the original one, the cottage is listed, so it is steep and uneven. There are also low doorways and beams.
