The Heirloom Suite features a two room suite. One Bedroom offers a queen size Victorian bed and a private balcony that overlooks the Sweetwater property. Open the doors to enjoy the Florida breeze and fresh air and relax on the balcony with a good book and cup of coffee. The second room in the Heirloom Suite is a private sun room. This sun room fills with beautiful daylight and overlooks our Sweetwater Courtyard. The courtyard, which is open for your use, includes a patio with tables, chairs and umbrellas, and is complete with a trickling water fountain. The courtyard also offers a warming fire pit that can be used in the cooler months. The Heirloom sun room has a Murphy Bed for secondary sleeping accommodations (a modern couch that transforms into a double bed). This new bed can sleep two extra people. There is also a nice private bathroom that offers a shower or mini jacuzzi tub combination options. The Heirloom Room is located on the second floor of the Cushman-Colson House and has central A/C with a private thermostat. This room includes Free Wi-Fi and one reserved parking space. The space Located 5 blocks away from downtown Gainesville, the Sweetwater Branch Inn is a unique staple in town. Comprised of two historical Victorian houses, a courtyard, well-maintained gardens, and a salt water pool with Jacuzzi, the space truly feels like an oasis. Guest access You can access the room you are staying plus the dining areas, living room, and patio located in the main house. You can also access the courtyard areas, McKenzie Gardens, small putting green, and our salt water pool with hot tub. Free bike rentals, breakfast, and wine and cheese hour are also available for you to enjoy!
