Bumi Langit is not only a bed & breakfast but also a permaculture learning center & organic restaurant that is located in the hills of Imogiri yogyakarta. We are surrounded by forest with a beatiful view of yogya; where you can watch sunrise; sunset and city lights at night. it is a perfect place to getaway and to learn more about the connection with nature. The space Built with the concept of wisdom, "Rumah Panjang" (Long house) is built with renewable material (coconut wood and woven bamboo walls). The house has three private bedrooms with private bathroom (outside of the bedroom area but privately dedicated for each room), rooms are all on second floor facing the farm garden. While on the ground floor, we have a communal space where you can relax or to do some yoga. FOOD Breakfast+ tea or coffee is inclusive in room rate. Lunch is available in the restaurant (extra charge applied). Dinner will follow the homecook meal of the day (extra charge applied) ABOUT BUMI LANGIT Bumi Langit is a living space where we can witness and learn the importance of mutual living between man and nature. Man as the khalifah holds responsibility to take care, manage and to always maintain the balance. Bumi langit is the place where understanding and skills that have been passed down through human ancestry can be learnt and applied in our daily lives. A place where solutions are offered to the problems of the modern world. A place where ethical values (adab) becomes the base foundation in the relationship between man and nature, and between man. Bumi langit strives to be a reflection of life that follows (Rahmatan Lil'alamin) ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES Additional activities are available with extra charges such as: - Permaculture workshop - Cooking Class (Indonesian cooking, Kefir class, kombucha class and more) Guest access Guest are allowed to use common area (Dining area, living room and pantry) Other things to note - No air-conditioning in all bedrooms (Fan provided). It gets quite chilly here up in the hills (Depending on season) therefore we love sleeping with natural AC by having the window open and the cool night breeze tucking us into bed. - Extrabed is available with extra charge (inclusive with breakfast) - Mosquito net is provided in all bedrooms - Since our property is in the nature, you may have some visitors like frogs, geckos and lizards around the property
