JACUZZI R1650 TO FILL + R300 PER DAY PLEASE ADVISE US IN ADVANCE, should you wish to make use of the jacuzzi. Please be aware that we possibly need to fill & heat the jacuzzi, which can take up to 9 hours to reach temperature. The jacuzzi is limited to 6 persons at a time. The house has a large open plan, fully equipped kitchen, dining & living room. Looks onto the terrace with pool, heated jacuzzi & the beautiful garden with orchids, vegetables & herbs. There are two en suite bedrooms, each with a single & a double bed. The third bedroom has two single beds and its own adjoining bathroom. This room leads through to the main bedroom, which is accessed via this area. There are ceiling fans throughout. The main open plan living room, has a seating area, large dining table. Cast your subscribed apps to the TV using our Chromecast device The kitchen has a microwave, oven, hob & full size fridge/freezer & dishwasher. There is also a washing machine. Secure parking for 1 mid/large vehicle. We live in the front section of the main house with our own private entrance. So are close buy if necessary. There is a cottage in a completely separate building, with its own entrance, on the property. If it is occupied, there is a chance that you will bump into the other guest (Max 2 persons) in the garden, pool, jacuzzi or parking. You are supplied with amenities on arrival to get you started. Once these are depleted, they are for your own account. The lamp on the kitchen counter is rechargeable. Please leave it on for a few hours afterwards to allow it to RECHARGE. There are also rechargeable lanterns. Due to the close proximity of the swimming pool, children must have adult supervision at all times. After having more than a few, very bad experiences, with the booked number of guests being exceeded & parties. We urge you to book elsewhere, if this is your intention! Great care has been taken to be as precise as possible with our location & property description. The beach is 5km away. uShaka Marine World is 5.6km. We are 450 meters from the renowned Glenwood Bakery. It is 2.4km to Davenport Square Mall, grocery shopping & the restaurants & night life on Helen Joseph Road. Its 2.9km to Wilsons Warf & 3.5km to the yacht harbour. The International Congress Center is a 4.7km drive. It's 6km to the Moses Mabhida Stadium. We also have 2 private hospitals (Entabeni & St Augustine’s) within a 2km radius, as well as the university & medical school, both less than 1km away. Penzance Primary School is 130 meters down the road, & Glenwood High School 1.3km along the road. Durban Girls High School is 260m up the road. Generally, everything is easily reachable within a +/-10 minute drive. The airport is 32km away. WIGS IN THE JACUZZI Please ensure that wigs are kept out of the water as the hair blocks system. JACUZZI WATER LEVEL Top the water up with the hose when necessary. Durban has a humid climate. Please feel free to use the the washing lines outside, if your towels are not completely drying. To maximize hygiene, the pillows all have waterproof protectors. Spare pillows are in the top of the cupboard. We use old sanitized pillow cases that may have marks on them, over the pillow protector. This is to double protect your pillow & ensure it is covid free & easily maintained. We provide personal digital satellite television. You are supplied with amenities on arrival to get you started. Once these are depleted, they are for your own account. Refuse collection takes place very early on Wednesday mornings. Please place the full black bags provided, securely knotted (to avoid insects), on the pavement on Tuesday night if necessary. During the week, please place all securely knotted black bags in the green bin on the south side of the house, accessed through the wooden garden door. Durban has a hot climate. Kindly place perishable food waste in a separate small plastic bag and take it with you to dispose of, or let us know and we will be happy to dispose of it for you Please be advised that South Africa is currently experiencing nationwide electricity and water shortages. As a result, power outages and water interruptions may occur at any time, sometimes without prior notice. While we do our utmost to minimize inconvenience, these interruptions are beyond our control, and we cannot accept liability should they occur during your stay.
