‘Winterhaven’ by the Reserve Sleep 2

Winterhaven is a warm and elegant 1 bedroom property which sleeps 2 people in a queen bedroom. Fully self-contained. The living, dining and kitchen are upstairs with wonderful views. Located right on the reserve. Downstairs are the bathroom and bedroom.Tranquil location surrounded by nature whilst located on the border of the Reserve but a few minutes walk to the village centre. Winterhaven is a totally refurbished property. Linen/towels provided. Netflix and Apple TV provided free of charge. The space Winterhaven is a beautiful and charming property in a magnificent location, with lots of alpine charm throughout the property. On the ground level is the queen bedroom and 1 bathroom. You enter Winterhaven from a secure foyer. There is a drying cupboard in the foyer with a heater to dry wet shoes, ski boots , jackets and gloves. Upstairs is an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. All new high end appliances. The kitchen has a fridge, freestanding stove top with gas oven, Smeg dishwasher, microwave, kettle as well as a toaster and a new Smeg drip system coffee maker. Tea, coffee, sugar, spices and olive oil are all provided for guests. Winterhaven borders the National Park or reserve. It’s nestled among the snow gums with cross country ski-in and ski-out access directly from the property to the tracks. We have owned Winterhaven for 20 years and guests comment on the ideal location year after year. It is a 15 minute drive to Hotham (11 km). It’s very close! There is also a bus shuttle right at the front of the property for travel to Mt Hotham. It’s a paid bus shuttle service and not free. Dinner Plain is above the snow line at an altitude of 1580m. The weather in Dinner Plain in summer is cooler and in winter there is lots of snow. Linen and towels are provided for you stay. Professional cleaning occurs before your check in and after your check out. Heating will be switched on for your stay. Park Lane is a quiet little street and you will have a good night sleep in Park Lane compared to being in the village centre where the local bars play loud music and sleeping can be difficult. You will not have this problem in Park Lane. Kindly respect that tenants live in Snowmass and parking is only for one vehicle on the left side of the driveway. You cannot obstruct the driveway with an additional car and Snowmass tenants need to be able to drive in and out of their garage. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of Winterhaven and the land. There is a designated parking bay only for Winterhaven on the left side of the driveway. This parking bay only fits one vehicle. Kindly park the vehicle high up close to the path and do not obstruct the driveway. Other things to note Rubbish and recycling go in the rubbish shed which is located at the start of the driveway. Please keep the door of the rubbish shed always closed as birds can enter and make a mess. Parking is only for 1 vehicle. An additional vehicle can park at the overnight parking at Scrubbers End. Please do not park in front of the garage or obstruct entry and exit of the driveway. Park your vehicle only in the designated Winterhaven parking bay left of the driveway. If there are friends visiting, they cannot park in the driveway. It’s important that the driveway is never obstructed for the tenants in Snowmass, which is my next door property sharing the same driveway. Kindly do not leave the foyer door open as this makes the property unsafe from possible theft, even though Dinner Plain is a very safe village, winter time has higher visitors.
