The Blue House Yungaburra

It is perfect for a longer stay, providing all the comforts of a home, within easy walking distance to restaurants, the shop and the lovely Peterson Creek Botanical walk. Guest access Guests have sole access to the whole house. This includes washing machine, dryer, all cooking facilities etc. Other things to note Occasionally it can get a little cool up here on the Atherton Tablelands during the winter months (mid-May to August). Cool clear nights are followed by sunny and warm days. The house is equipped with a gas fan heater in the open plan living/kitchen area to warm up this area in the evening and morning. Being a wooden cottage it does not heat the whole house, such as bedrooms and bathroom. For safety reasons the heater should be turned off at night and when going out. On the other hand the summer months are much cooler and less humid up here than at the coast. It rarely gets very hot and it cools down nicely at night. The two large bed rooms and the living area are equipped with sealing fans and there are pedestal ventilators for the smaller bedrooms. The house has no air conditioning.
