Villa Capitolini is an enchanting stone and brick cottage nestled in nature, surrounded by olive trees and a privileged and suggestive panorama in the beautiful Umbria. It stands at the foot of the medieval village of Collelungo (twelfth century) with a splendid view overlooking the middle Tiber valley. Precisely because of its central location, is an excellent starting point to continue with cultural excursions in the nearby cities of Perugia, Todi, Orvieto, Assisi, Spoleto, Gubbio. The space The farmhouse, a manor house dating back to 1875, was renovated in 2010, maintaining the characteristics of the Umbrian farmhouse with flat ceilings crossed by oak beams; furnished with discreet elegance is the ideal place to spend an unforgettable vacation, relaxing and peaceful. Our farmhouse is divided into three apartments, but for large groups we are happy to rent the entire villa. As we do not live personally on the estate, the garden and pool are for exclusive use of the guests. The villa can host up to 15 people in a total of six bedrooms. - Casa Acqua, with an area of 75 m², can accommodate up to 5 people and is suitable for families with children. It has 2 bedrooms, a sofa bed in the TV room and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen and living room overlook the private outdoor space with its garden shaded by a pergola equipped with table chairs and rocking chair. The pool can be reached on foot, simply by walking around the farmhouse. - The apartment Terra of 70 m² is ideal for a couple or a family with children, and can accommodate from 2 to 4 people; it consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, on request it is possible to add another single bed, and has a large bathroom with shower. This house is suitable for disabled people. In the spacious living room, with fireplace, there is a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment Terra is surrounded by a porch with tables, chairs, rocking chair and has a small private garden in front of the entrance. - Fuoco is a large apartment of 80 m² with two floors connected by a spiral staircase. On the ground floor is the large equipped kitchen with living room. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with shower; up to 6 people can stay there and a single bed can be added on request. The windows on the east side offer a beautiful view of the hills. It has a balcony in front of the entrance and a private table, with chairs, in the garden. Other things to note The farmhouse is situated in the hamlet of Collelungo, a small town with a history dating back to the 13th century. In 1294 the city walls were build by the Monaldeschi family, which eventually ended up under the power of Paolo III. The region of Todi and Perugia are worthwhile visiting; from Perugia you can drive easily to Assisi. The Trasimeno lake is a refreshing day trip. Perugia is the capital of Umbria and one of the main cities of central Italy. Perugia is located on an elongated hill. At the top lies the medieval part of the city. The access gate Porta d'Augusto has been preserved from the Etruscan period. Other highlights are the Priori Palace, the Fontana Maggiore, the Oratorio di San Bernardino and, of course the Cathedral.
