Guest access The Victorian house is in historic Cookham Dean. 20 mins drive Heathrow t5, Windsor Castle, Legoland, Henley regatta, Ascot race course, Stoke Park golf club & Cliveden stately home. Sunningdale golf, Wentworth golf, Oxford City & the Cotswolds are less than 40 minutes away. Central London is a 20 minute train journey at peak times. Nearest major train stations are Maidenhead on GWR or High Wycombe on Chiltern line. The new Elizabeth line (a extension of the tube) takes you direct to Central London (Bond Street) in 35 mins. The village is a historic site protected for both its environmental & historic significance. The world famous Fat Duck (3 stars), Hand & Flowers (2 stars) & Waterside Inn (2 stars) are all local restaurants in nearby Bray or Marlow (both less than 2 miles). This significant cluster of world famous restaurants reflects the pre eminence of the area and has led to many less celebrated but nonetheless great places to eat, The Coach, The White Oak, The Bell & Dragon to name a few. So if a good walk & pub or gastro lunch is what you are after there is nowhere better. Area is full of golf & also good cycling & riding with the Chiltern hills running through the area as well as the scenic village of Marlow, previously voted most beautiful town in Britain.
