Our private property is ideal for a family holiday, staff outing or meeting in the pristine surroundings not far from the River Kwai Bridge. We offer cosy and charming rooms with private bathrooms in the peaceful ambience. The start price is for 14 persons inclusive of private swimming pool, garden, WiFi and free bikes. Ensure ultimate privacy with a touch of luxury and unique stay experience like no other. It can accommodate up to 18-22 persons with additional cost for extra persons. The space The History: Historically, our property is part of the legendary River Kwai Horse Camp, the first of its kind in Kanchanaburi. The old-aged house riding jungle camp was founded some 70 years ago by the late German polo trainer, who moved from Bangkok to the nature blissed province of Kanchanaburi not long after the end of WWII. Today, the property is physically still part of this historical place that occupies approximately a woodland of 28 acres - the largest green space nearest to Kanchanaburi town centre. The Property: Situated in a woodland of approximately 4,800 sq. m., our residence is bordered by the River Kwai horse riding camp on one side and pineapple plantation on the other side. This outskirt area is isolated from a busy tourist street near The River Kwai Bridge, but we are only 6 km. from town., or just 2.5 km. on a back road to the Bridge. Secluded in a traditional Thai village about 300 m. from a busy touristic Saiyok 323 highway, our place always surprises guests with its soothing serenity and astonishingly peaceful atmosphere. THE Main Building: The two-storey building is surrounded by a tropical garden and nature, occupying over half of the whole property. This former home office has undergone a big renovation to accommodate guests looking for a private stay and unique experience found nowhere else. The Design: We integrate the natural element i.e., light, views of nature and cheerful energy, into the whole design in order to make our residence a truly luxury escape with a touch of nature around. The Room: All 9 bedrooms, including 2 family connecting and suite, have their own private bathrooms, similar features and amenities with a touch of luxury and warmth that lend our residence a truly 'home away from home' holiday haven. All rooms are air-conditioned. The Balcony: An ideal open-air balcony perches on top floor and overlooks a lush garden and a swimming pool. Approximately occupying 32 sq. m./344 sq. ft. in size, the balcony can be perfect for evening gathering or any relaxation activities or such body & mind retreat exercise as yoga, pilates or breathing exercise. Small group gathering or meetings are possible on this spacious open-air balcony with the prevailing relaxing and positive energy around. Living area and facilities: Outdoor kitchen, dining room, indoor and outdoor living space, reading room, swimming pool, outdoor pavilion, outdoor space, garden, car park. Guest access SWIMMING POOL on site: Accessible by wheelchair users and those with physical limits. Garden and outdoor space: Dining area. FITNESS ROOM: Treadmill & weight training machine. Public stadium and gyms nearby: 3 km. distance. Open until 8 pm. Other things to note 1. Extra charge for additional person after 14 persons is 1,700 THB per person. 2. Other meals can also be arranged upon request. 3. Local cook and assistants are available upon request. 4. Transfer service, car rent (air-con or open-air) can be arranged. 5. If you plan to bring your own dogs, please kindly inform us in advance. There is extra charge for dogs, ranging from 300THB to 1000 THB depending on a size (weight) of dogs. Some dog species are not allowed, however, and please read our regulations regarding a dog stay or send us an inquiry if you are unsure or need more information.
