The house where you are staying is right above ours. We never go up there when we have guests. We have 5 acres which is straight up and down and on a dead end street which provides a very quiet private environment. There are lots of interesting books and gorgeous views out the large windows. The large deck is great for stargazing, doing yoga(we have yoga mats and blocks) and just resting after a long day of exploring and hiking. You will have access to the whole house except for the Meditation room where I teach my classes. There will be no public classes planned during your visit but you can request it for yourself. There is a large deck and a front porch attached to the house which is yours to use during your stay. When you arrive, I will be available to show you around and get you checked-in. You might see us working in the garden outside. You will have to walk by our house to go up the steps to your accommodations. Feel free to ask us any questions about the area. We have lots of maps and menus. We are happy help. It is very quiet here with the exception of the birds singing. The sky is big and on a clear night you will see millions of stars. Our little village is filled with amazing gourmet eating establishments who use local fresh organic food and fresh caught fish. There are even more wine tasting rooms! You will need a car to get around. You can bicycle when you leave it is all down hill. Just be prepared to come back up the hill. Some of our guests have used Uber and Lyft but you must call way ahead of time because of our rural location. There is a 10.5% Monterey County Transient Occupancy Tax which I will have to collect in cash when you arrive. It is calculated based on the amount I receive. I will calculate it before you arrive and let you know.
