The house is located in a small, charming village without shops, perfect for reading, relaxing and enjoying the silence. Just 10 km away, you will find a picturesque town with all amenities: shops, restaurants, train station (TGV) and post office. There is plenty to discover in the surrounding area: medieval towns, impressive castles, fascinating museums and the famous Fontenay Abbey. For nature lovers and hikers, there are plenty of routes starting directly from the gîte, allowing you to experience the beauty of Burgundy up close. Guest access The gîte has its own entrance and private terrace, with parking just 25 metres away (Place du Théâtre). Upon entering, you step directly into the fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor, you will find a comfortable double bedroom and the bathroom. In the attic, there is a room with two single beds. Ideal for families or friends. Other things to note The courtyard garden is completely private for our guests and can be closed off with a gate. It is an ideal place to relax, read or enjoy a glass of wine in peace and quiet. The gîte has several staircases, which add to the character of the house. We advise guests who have difficulty climbing stairs to take this into account in advance, so that their stay remains comfortable. The house is an authentic Burgundian dwelling; please note that some doors and ceilings are lower than in modern houses. Pets are welcome (if agreed in advance). Smoking is not permitted in the gîte.
