Hill Country Carriage House

We have everything you need for a romantic getaway, business travel or fun family time. We live in a wonderful neighborhood where deer and chickens roam free. We are about a 5 minute drive to/from Main Street and in the very heart of the Texas Hill Country. Southern hospitality, hiking trails, wineries, brew haus, music venues and everything the great HC offers is here. Come be our guest! Read entire site for info! We look forward to meeting you. The space Welcome! We reside in a wonderful neighborhood 5 mins from downtown Boerne. To date, we have hosted families from 15 different countries! The CH has a fully equipped kitchen (see “Amenities”) listed herein. **Due to severe drought and pull on our well the laundry room use is NOT available at this time.** It has a separate laundry room with ironing board. We do not supply detergent and only eco friendly detergent is permitted bc of free ranging chickens and wildlife. There is a bedroom with KING SIZE BED and walk in closet. There is NO bedroom door. There is a quaint bathroom with tub/shower made private by a pocket door. There is no plug in tub for safety reasons. The living room has a sofa. We do have an air mattress (queen) for use for an extra guest charge. It's not fancy but it's a good night's rest. There is a 32" HDTV with fire stick or a choice of dominoes and board games. WE ARE ON A SEPTIC SYSTEM AND OPEN FLOW Ladies please use the bags under the sink in bathroom for personal items and please do not flush them. All my animals are kept locked up behind a fenced yard while we have guests so not to disturb you on your visit. However, chickens do free range. Wifi: We now offer fiber optics. (Password is on check in page.) Patio: please be courteous of our neighbors shhhhh after 10:30pm on patio. Lights for parking area are located in bedroom on three switch plate. Guest access We will provide our guests with 1 access key. Lost keys $25. There are no unauthorized guests or pets permitted on the property without our knowlege or consent. TY! You have access to the area immediately around CH only. Please don’t walk through carport or into fenced yard. We do have large dogs. Located 3 miles from Town Square in Boerne (The Boerne Mile), 10 miles from the quaint town of Sisterdale and 20 mins down road to Luckenbach and 40 mins to the vineyards of Fredericksburg and Johnson Ranch all straight down Sisterdale Road. We are in the heart of the Hill Country wedding venues. We are just 2 miles off I10 so you can visit Comfort, Waring, Kerville and Welfare for lunch, shopping or a hike. We are 45 minutes to New Braunfels and 20 minutes to San Antonio.
