See other details for more info This unique home sits on a large lot and has plenty of space to BBQ and hang out. It has a great deal of character and makes guests feel right at home. Everyone loves the uniqueness of the space, and the close access to the beach, which has the best sand, waves and weather. The town itself has lots of wine tasting, delicious food, and sunshine. Guests are close to Port San Luis, which has additional restaurants and cool beaches. The town of San Luis Obispo is less than a ten minute drive. Guests have access to the entire house, which includes a laundry room and two parking spaces. Avila during the day is full of life. There are lots of people in and out of the town and on the beach. The town is full of people walking, exercising, wine tasting and having fun. The street in front of the house is quite busy during the day and parents should be mindful of their children. Around 5:00 PM, the town gets very quiet. We know and love our neighbors and there is a real community feel with them. We look out for each other so you can trust that you are surrounded by good people. We also ask that you respect them and keep the noise to a reasonable level and time. Connections from the trolley are available at the Pismo Beach Premium Outlets for SCT (Route 21 and Route 24) and RTA (Route 10). The trolley runs in 3 seasons with varying schedules. Regular schedule runs Friday, Saturday, Sunday. There is a steep driveway, which should be considered when booking as well as stairs to access the house itself and then stairs to access the loft. The loft has windows with alarms for child safety and should be considered when deciding where children play and sleep. There is only small areas of carpeting and the rest is hardwood flooring. The laundry room is available to guests and we leave some supplies to use. We provide paper towels, dishwasher pods, and all-purpose cleaner. There is a reverse osmosis system in the kitchen, so no need for bottled water. Allergy sufferers: Be aware we do take our pets to our home when we use it several times a year, but we use our own bedding and towels and clean everything thoroughly. With a $25 cleaning fee (cleaning fee and procedure changed 7/3/22), guests are expected to clean up the place before they leave. Hosts will do all the laundry, clean the floors, and clean the bathroom, but it is expected that the home is left in the condition it was found. If you are expecting a deep cleaning for $25, this is not the place for you, your rating will reflect it and extra fees may be applied.
