The Hangar Bilinga Beach

The Hangar is a studio space that accommodates two people. Located a short walk from the beach, it features both coastal & aviation design elements. A separate dwelling to the main house, you'll have access to a private courtyard filled with plants. We are located 1km from the airport, a flat 15min walk and 500m from the beach. The space The front of the Hangar features VJ cladding with custom made circular windows, a nod to both portholes and round windows of aircraft. A vintage pine propeller from an old glider frames the new facade. The original work bench has been retained to create a breakfast bar for dining, finished off with vintage casement windows to view the outside garden. Guest access You will have your own entry a via a secure gate from the front of the house. Walk past the carport and through the backyard. From there, you'll walk into the private courtyard and enter the Hangar via the keyless lock. Other things to note The kitchenette has the essentials, equipped with an electric frypan, microwave, fridge and freezer, sandwich press, toaster and kettle. There is no oven or stovetop. The Bathroom is spacious and includes both a bath tub and shower. Keep in mind the bath acts as the base for the shower so there is a step up to get in. The ceiling is a transparent to allow natural light to flow through. There is a window that connects the main studio to the bathroom. This has a frosted finished but if you need further privacy there is a movable screen that can be placed in front of the window. The Toilet is separate to the shower area there is a large vanity. Enjoy our smart TV during your stay. This comes with built-in Netflix and youtube for easy streaming from your own account. Guests can also cast other apps from their own devices via google chromecast. We provide beach towels, 2 beach chairs and a beach umbrella to use during your stay. The Hangar is pet friendly. The fee of $45 is set in our airbnb profile and will be applied when you indicate you are travelling with a pet. We have gates and fencing around the property ensuring it's fully secure. Pets are allowed inside we just ask you keep them off the bed and furniture.
