Lodge 8, Log House, is an inviting two-storey wooden self catering lodge situated at Barend Holiday Village, with free swimming pool access. This property comfortably sleeps 8 in three bedrooms (including one accessed via the open plan room). Log House boasts a a spacious open plan living-dining area and kitchen, 2 bathrooms and two balconies with furniture. Log House is one of our Silver chalets. The space GROUND FLOOR​ Hallway With ample space for hanging coats and storing shoes; plus a cupboard containing useful amenities such as an ironing board and vacuum cleaner. An additional fridge-freezer can be found in the cupboard. Living & Dining Area The spacious living and dining area invites you in. Comfortably seating 8 people with a dining table and comfortable sofas, Smart TV, and kids games, this room is great for families and groups alike. The living-dining area is carpeted. Leather sofas are great if you have pets. Boasts a large picture window to benefit from the views whatever the weather! The private balcony, with seating, is accessed via doors from the living area. Kitchen A fully-equipped kitchen with: Gas hob and electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster, A full range of cooking utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery is provided, Soft-close drawers, additional cupboards, washing machine and additional kitchenware (beyond our standard set, for example including champagne flutes, children’s cutlery etc). The kitchen is extended into the dining area to give more space. Additionally Log House has an extra fridge-freezer in the hallway cupboard. King Bedroom A king bed, dressed in quality bedding awaits. With bedside lighting, easy-access charging points, hairdryer, bedside cupboards and wardrobe space there is everything you need for a great night’s sleep. Please note this room contains the boiler in a locked cupboard. Bathroom The main bathroom features a high-quality walk in shower, toilet with soft-close lid and hand wash basin. Attention to detail includes a towel rail, glass shower screen, excellent lighting and wet-wall throughout. ​FIRST FLOOR Open Plan Bedroom The stairs open directly into the open plan room. This spacious room comfortably sleeps 4 people in single beds. Each bed has access to a bedside cabinet and lamp. Easily storing suitcases and bags, this room also offers a chest of drawers for clothes. This room has its own personal balcony (with seating), offering fantastic views of the park. The open plan room offers ease of use with black out curtains and its own hairdryer. Front Bedroom (overlooking front door) This bedroom is accessed via the open plan room. It boasts a king size bed with bedside tables, lamps and charging points. For added comfort this room includes a chest of drawers, wardrobe, mirror and hairdryer. This room also boasts an ensuite with soft-close toilet, sink and step-up shower. Please note there is a small step into this shower. For convenience this room also has a towel rail.
