Henye Vintage Home in the Káli Basin

In Balatonhenye, a nicely renovated, two-storey, large farmhouse with a garden is for rent. We provide comfortable accommodation for 8 people in 3 bedrooms, +2 more people can sleep in the living room. Balatonhenye is the last really untouched village in the Káli Basin in a quiet valley surrounded by forests. The beaches of the lake BALATON can be reached by car in 10 minutes. To buy food you should go into the neighboring village, Köveskál (4 km). The house is ideal for rest and vacation. The space We offer the whole house for rent, so you don’t have to share with other guests either inside the building or in the garden. A total of about 170 m2 awaits our guests on two levels. The living room is 30 m2, so the company can comfortably spend time together here or in the garden. The garden with a stone fence in the local style provides a sheltered playground for children and pets alike (Pets are only welcome outside the building!). Much of the building received a major renovation in 2021. The house is located in an authentic village atmosphere with floral and forest scents, dawn mist ... and maybe wild boars and deers (if you are so lucky). We spent many beautiful summers in the house as a family, beautified it over the years for ourselves, so it developed almost organically so this can certainly be discovered in its style even today. During the renovation, we also found bricks from 1884, so a building at least 140 years old welcomes our guests who want to relax. Our house awaits with an almost untouched forest environment dotted with vineyards and pastures. A romantic, lovable place to relax. At one end of the village, a small creek is shaded by old willow trees, giving an unforgettable atmosphere. And what is the Kali Basin? Ancient volcanoes, church towers, stone desert, endless views from Csobánc Castle ... and of course 100% Lake Balaton. Guest access The whole house with the garden.
