Description

Newly renovated, the farmhouse is set on 150 acres on Lazy Acres and draws you in to be just that - Lazy! With each bedroom having its own bathroom, this rustic farmhouse meets modern chic. You've got your own private & secluded valley nestled in a tranquil bush setting with plenty of wildlife. Clean & cozy with plenty of space and everything you need to feel at home. Very well equipped, perfect for for a family reunion or a group of friends. We are close to the village cafes & tavern. The space Yango Creek Farmhouse features spacious living areas and bedrooms, a large back deck, wrap around veranda and large fire pit. It is well set up with several living and entertaining options to comfortably accomodate the whole family. The house is beautifully styled with high cielings, timber beams and gorgeous chandeliers. With four well sized to large bedrooms that can comfortably sleep up to 13 guests, there are 2 comfy king size beds, 2 queen size beds, and an optional queen size sofa bed & fold up single beds available. All beds are made up with quality linen and towels are provided. Each bedroom has its own newly beautifully renovated bathroom. Please read below for bedroom configurations. The kitchen is well equipped with many household appliances including a nutribullet, slow cooker, jaffle maker, toaster, panini press, kettle, coffee pot, ground coffee, espresso machine & coffee pods. Pantry essentials such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper, herbs & spices, olive oil & margarine. Basics such as glad wrap & napkins. There is a gas stove, microwave, large fridge & freezer, iron & ironing board. The open plan dining / living Room features a large gorgeous vintage chandelier suspended from cathedral ceiling. Cosy up to the newly installed combustion wood fireplace (firewood provided in winter months). Bose and UE boom portable speakers are available for use. Storeroom - For your convenience we have many items you may require to make your stay extra comfortable such as portable fans, heaters, garment rack, bench seat cushions, a large waterproof umbrella and an emergency kit with extra provisions such as toiletry items that you may have forgotten to bring. 4 x bedrooms (Can sleep up to 13 upon request). Loft Bedroom - Spacious open plan loft room. King size bed. Reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fan. Block out blind. Curtains. Brand new ensuite bathroom. Bed linen, towels, hair dryers, soap, shampoo, conditioner & toilet paper are included. This room can accommodate three extra people. (A sofa bed and single fold up bed are available as required for paid guests who are registered on your air bnb booking). Front Bedroom - King size bed, electric blanket. Property views. Newly renovated private ensuite bathroom.Block out blind & curtains. Bed linen, towels, hair dryers, soap, shampoo, conditioner & toilet paper are included. Botanical Bedroom - Queen size bed, electric blanket, reverse cycle air conditioning. Access is from veranda wing. Property views. Block out curtains. Brand new private ensuite bathroom. Bed linen, towels, hair dryers, soap, shampoo, conditioner & toilet paper are included. Woodlands Bedroom - Queen size bed, electric blanket, reverse cycle air conditioning. Access is from veranda wing. Large bedroom with juliette balcony and property views. Brand new private ensuite bathroom. Block out blinds. Bed linen, towels, hair dryers, soap, shampoo, conditioner & toilet paper are included. Accessability to bedrooms is described as below. WHEN BOOKING FOR 1-2 GUESTS: The attic bedroom and ensuite bathroom is allocated for 1-2 (fully paid) guests on your booking. WHEN BOOKING FOR 3-4 GUESTS: In addition to the attic bedroom and ensuite bathroom, the front bedroom and ensuite bathroom is allocated for 3 -4 (fully paid) guests on your booking. WHEN BOOKING FOR 5-6 GUESTS: In addition to the attic, front bedroom (and ensuite bathrooms), either the Botanical or Woodlands bedroom is allocated for bookings of 5-6 (fully paid) guests on your booking. These rooms are only accessible from the veranda wing. WHEN BOOKING FOR 7-8 GUESTS: All 4 bedrooms & ensuites will be allocated for bookings of 7-8 (fully paid) guests on your booking. WHEN BOOKING FOR 9-11 GUESTS: A sofa bed and single fold up bed are allocated as required in the Loft bedroom.. WHEN BOOKING FOR 11-13 GUESTS: Two single fold up beds are allocated as required in the Woodlands bedroom. Please note: As per listing description, each bedroom is priced on twin share occupancy. We will cater for single person occupancy (those who wish to book seperate rooms for individual guests). In this case there will be an additional flat fee of $80 for linen & cleaning services for each bedroom (& private ensuite bathroom). Once your booking has been made and confirmed, please notify us of your guest configuration as we will need to know how many couples there are or how many singles require a seperate room. A money request will then be sent for the additional payment(s). A travel cot is available upon request at no charge. Linen for the travel cot is not supplied. Wrap around front veranda with table setting. Back deck also with table setting undercover gas BBQ. Outdoor fire pit available for use when no fire bans or restrictions (Due to fire hazards in warmer months, wood is provided in winter months only). Guest access All spaces and amenities listed above are included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home. You can conveniently park at the back of the house with only one step to the back deck. We are within walking distance to Wollombi Village. Follow our meandering driveway, lined with trees on either side. Soak in the beauty, there's a sense of peace and tranquility. The driveway is 1.8km long, it is another kilometre to the Village. Here you will find the General Store, Myrtle & Stone cafe, Tabu restaurant, the famous Wollmbi Tavern, walking trails, picinic areas, galleries, aboriginal cultural centre, vineyards & tennis courts. Other things to note As per listing description, each bedroom is priced on twin share occupancy. We will cater for single person occupancy (those who wish to book seperate rooms for individual guests). In this case there will be an additional flat fee of $80 for each bedroom (& private ensuite bathroom). COVID-19 Safety Precautions & Procedures The health and safety of our guests, cleaners and ourselves are of the utmost importance to us. We are committed to creating a safe and healthy space for both yourself, ourselves and our team. Please be assured that we have doubled our own normally high standards of cleanliness. Mobile phone reception is generally best on the front veranda. Mobile phone reception can be limited of an evening and early mornings and can be affected by inclement weather. The signal typically becomes stronger if you walk into front yard or a few meters along the driveway. As the Wi-Fi signal is generally good, phone calls may successfully be conducted by setting your mobile device to "wifi calling"or conducting calls via your communication apps such as viber, messenger, whats app, we chat etc. Telstra is the best for rural areas. Vodaphone does not receive signal in the house, property or in Wollombi Village. The Wollombi general store does stock some grocery items, as does Laguna Village Providore and the GNTP in Laguna which is a 10 min drive. Trading hours are be limited. Fuel is available at the GNTP (limited trading hours). It 25 minute drive to Cessnock so I recommend coming prepared. Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. Registration Details PID-STRA-7270
