You will have your own entrance to our cosy and colourful guest room with an en-suite bathroom. Situated in a leavy, calm and peaceful part of the City Bowl, and 10 walking minutes away from Gardens Shopping Centre, Cape Town's historic Company's Garden and the hub of the inner city. The space The space you will find is a fresh, yet warm and cosy bedroom, decorated in our own twist of an urban ethno-style and sprinkled with african & asian touches. You will sleep in a queen standard sized bed, well suitable for two and luxurious for one person. We use crisp white cotton bedding, and there is an extra blanket and cushions available, if needed. There is a sleek, white inbuilt cupboard including drawers and a Napoleon III lounge chair, as well as a coffee and tea tray with extra bottled water and snacks to nibble. The library next to the bed, offers you a range of eclectic fiction and travelling books in three different languages, and you are able to illuminate the space from five different light sources, to create you own ambiance. Guest access Your own en-suite bathroom and the shared, spacious kitchen. During your stay It is very important to us to stay considerate and attentive when it comes to find a healthy balance between socialising with guests and giving them enough space. We try to be available whenever it's possible, to assist our guests with information, if needed. We love to have a good chat and sharing thoughts and opinions. We equally respect when guests prefer privacy and a minimum of interaction. However, we always try to keep alive our spirit for hospitality and have an open mind for diversity. Other things to note DAY TOURS: CAPE TOWN AND SURROUNDINGS As a qualified Tourist Guide for the Western Cape, Alain can provide individually scheduled, private day, or half-day trips for you. As there are for example: - THE CAPE TOWN CITY TOUR - THE PENINSULA TOUR - THE WINELANDS TOUR - VISITING TABLE MOUNTAIN AND KIRSTENBOSCH BOTANICAL GARDEN You are more than welcome to inquire about availability, bookings and fees! (To our guests we are offering a 15% discount.) KITCHEN: you have access to our kitchen to prepare your meals, and space in our fridge for your food and beverages. Please consider our time frame, as we are usually cooking and eating between 6:30 and 8 PM. However, if you want to cook at this time, no worries, there is enough space for all of us. Communication is Key! DINING TOGETHER: Would you like to share a dinner with us? Depending on availability, we love to share a meal with our guest(s)! Please let us know till latest 12 noon, if you want to book a dinner on the same evening. Costs are ZAR: 250.- per Person.
