via Santa Maria, a boutique haven in Pietrasanta

A beautiful, light-filled 40-square metre self-contained apartment just 200 metres from Pietrasanta's stunning main square. Decorated with care in shades of grey and white, it’s lovely and cool in the summer and warm and cosy in the winter. We also offer our guests free bikes. Our aim is to provide a boutique hotel experience, so you'll find big fluffy towels, robes, lovely crisp white cotton sheets, a decent hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The space Our vision for the apartment underneath is to provide a peaceful, welcoming boutique experience. With sustainability in mind, we bought second hand furniture and restored it. Then, on the aesthetics side, we chose special pieces such as a marble basin for the bathroom and made sure the towels are big, soft and fluffy because that’s what we appreciate ourselves. Because our first rule for everything we have chosen, from cutlery to bedlinen, to cleanliness is: would WE like to use this ourselves? FREE BIKES We have two bikes (they're not fancy but they do the job!) that we are happy to lend to our guests so that you can cycle down to the beach (it's about 20 minutes away on safe cycle paths). Please note, however, that if you get a puncture, we will ask you to cover the cost of repair, and if a bike is lost or stolen, there is a replacement charge of 80 euros. Guest access The apartment is completely self-contained consisting of a large bedroom, a cosy kitchen-dining space and a lovely bathroom. Immediately outside your door is a small table and chairs if you want to sit and enjoy the sun. Other things to note NOTE REGARDING THE KITCHEN There is no stove but in the kitchen area you’ll find a small microwave-cum-mini oven, a coffee machine and kettle, together with tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk and basic condiments such as olive oil, balsamic and salt and pepper. There are over 80 restaurants for all budgets in Pietrasanta, and a wonderful piazza which we really think is the perfect place for breakfast (and people watching). Please do not bring any portable stoves. For safety and insurance purposes, we do not allow them either inside or outside. We provide a washing machine, an iron and ironing board too, and and of course there is a decent hairdryer. SMOKING Please note that our entire home, including the outdoor area is 100% smoke free, Thank you for respecting this. TOURIST TAX From June to September, the Pietrasanta Council imposes a tourist tax of €1.50 per person per night and by law we are obliged to collect it. We will therefore ask you to pay this in cash on your arrival. Thank you for understanding that it is not our choice!
