Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. Robbie. The space The lodge is situated within the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and within 100 metres of Loch Eck. Stunning scenery surrounds the lodge with forest, mountains and lochs on your doorstep. To the rear of the lodge is Whistlefield Forest which has miles of walking and mountain biking trails. There are more great walking and mountain biking trails at Glenbranter about 3 miles North of the lodge. The lodge is a great base to explore the Highlands with Oban, Fort William, Ben Nevis, Loch Lomond, Inveraray and not forgetting the spectacular Glencoe all within easy driving distance. Some of the local activities are hill walking, road cycling, mountain biking, fishing and just relaxing.. Robbie. Guest access There is a keybox located beside the front door of the lodge. Parking is immediately to the front of the lodge. Other things to note Please make sure to fill up your car with fuel when you get a chance.
