Completely custom house built by German engineer with all materials shipped from Germany. Large vaulted ceilings with exposed wooden beams. High quality German fixtures throughout, doors/windows toilets, faucets and shower heads. Oversized glass sliders connect living room and bedroom to the massive sunroom that runs the length of the house with hardwood floors, will heat house instantly when doors are open. Also have green rated wood stove. Large sauna in master bathroom. Very large Master bath has all tile, dual vanity, walk-in shower, bidet and view. 2nd master also has all tile and walk in shower. Entire house except garage and extra room which is used for storage. I will almost always be in town and available via cell phone 24hrs a day Quiet neighborhood two blocks From hiking and wilderness, parks, and less than one mile to downtown, grocery and restaurants Very close to town, 3/4 mile to grocery store and Main Street/downtown. Close to bike path and trails. We try very hard to keep the home super clean and tidy for guests and expect them to leave it in the same Condition as they found it. If you have small kids that may drop food on the carpet or things like that, this may not be the place for you. I’ve had some bad experiences with small children so please do not book if you plan to leave a mess for the cleaning lady, extra cleaning will be taken from the deposit. More than anything we appreciate tidy guests! Being all European home some things are a bit different. Toilets, windows and locks. A wood stove is available during cold weather with firewood, kindling and fire starters. There is no air conditioning, but I have many fans to help during heat waves and can give some tips to help keep the house cool. Please leave house as you found it, cleaning fee is for basic cleaning only (sheets, towels, vacuuming) You are responsible for cleaning your own dishes, food and trash. Minimum of $100 will be charged for dishes/trash/extra mess. Please inquire first about any pets, no cats allowed sorry.
