Blackfork Dogwood Haven cabin is located south of Hodgen, Oklahoma in the Ouachita National Forest. Our cabin is a modern rural get-away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! It has all the comforts of home except Wifi and Television. Instead, the living area faces a wall of windows that showcases the beauty of the outdoors.You can enjoy watching the wildlife from the comfort of the cabin. This cabin in the woods is the perfect place to escape and connect to nature. The space It's a cozy cabin that sleeps 6 in beds perfect for all types of vacation getaways. From couples to groups, we can accommodate those looking for spending time with loved ones. Guest access The property is 105 acres adjoining 1,000 of acres of US Forest Service. Other things to note The river is a short walk from the cabin. You can enjoy secluded access to swimming, canoeing, kayaking, or just wading around in the cool water. The bottom of the river is covered in beautiful river rocks so water shoes are recommended for stability. We have kayaks available to rent for $40. There is a great area for watercraft accessibility in front of the other cabin on the property. We make your vacation in the forest effortless. All you need to bring is your food and clothes! It’s that easy. Phone service is hit or miss at the cabin but a short trip up the road will make phone calls possible if necessary. If you love being outdoors or admiring nature, then this is the perfect stay for you and your loved ones!
