Set within a third-of-an-acre garden, the outdoor space wraps around the property and invites you to fully immerse yourself in the scenery. Enjoy evenings around the fire pit, unwind on the decking, enjoy the therapeutic hot tub, or take in uninterrupted views of the Grey Corries and Nevis peaks from the dedicated yoga and viewing deck. The modern kitchen is exceptionally well appointed and a genuine pleasure to cook in — fully stocked with everything you need to prepare and share memorable meals. For those who prefer to dine out, several excellent restaurants and cafés are just a short drive away. Ideal year-round, whether for summer escapes, winter sports, climbing adventures or simply exploring the great outdoors, Camden House has welcomed many returning guests who value its comfort, space and spectacular views. Sustainability is central to the experience. The house features an eco heat pump with underfloor heating, sustainably sourced firewood, energy-efficient LED lighting, and eco-friendly toiletries from the Highland Soap Company in refillable bottles — offering a stay that is both comfortable and environmentally responsible. Well-behaved pets are welcome, and an air purifier ensures peace of mind for guests with allergies. The therapeutic hot tub on the deck provides a relaxing place to unwind after an active day, with forest and mountain views as your backdrop. To ensure safe and appropriate use, there is a limit of 20 minutes per person per day. Camden House is perfectly suited to quiet social celebrations and quality time with friends and family. It is not suitable for parties, and these are not permitted. Guest access Camden House is in a hamlet about 350m from the A82, so is accessible by car all year. It has its own driveway and turning space which can accommodate up to 5 cars. Level access from the car to the house is in place , and the path is well-lit for evening/night arrivals. Train station, linking to Glasgow, Edinburgh and London is 1.8 miles away. Airports at Inverness (1.5 hour drive) Glasgow (2.5 hour drive). Edinburgh (2.75 hour drive), Car hire from all airports or get the train through to Fort William and hire one from there Other things to note We do not charge for cleaning therefore we required guests to leave the house tidy. We offer you the free use of our hot tub but it must be used correctly, as per the instructions provided. Please note this hot tub is for quiet therapeutic purposes and is not a party hot tub. Use must be kept to a maximum of 20 minutes per day per person as per health and safety advice (it is not a party tub for sitting in for prolonged periods so please do not book the house if you wish to do this as it will not be suitable for your group's requirements) Children under 5 must not go in the hot tub under any circumstances. House is on one level and is wheelchair accessible All bed linen is provided along with 2 large towels per guest No Smoking inside house but there are smoking areas in the garden Strict maximum of 8 people at the house due to licensing requirements. Highchair, 2 cots, baby bath, changing mat , toddler booster seat provided but please bring your own cot linen if possible. Please bring a dog crate if your pet is a chewer or not house trained. Please read the house manual/app to ensure you get the best from Camden House and to ensure you are able to understand and follow all health and safety requirements and the check out procedure, which is in line with most holiday cottages.
