This quirky attractive vintage little cottage is perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing in idyllic surroundings. Just a few metres from the lovely pebbly Gurnard beach, this fully refurbished historical little wooden building is set back from the road and tucked away behind our wild garden. It is accessed from its own car parking space via a little path. At the rear, a small stream goes to the sea and a large oak tree provides shelter to birds and a relaxing swing seat. The space We refurbished our little wooden cottage sensitively to provide a cozy and warm little hideaway. It retains most of its 1930's features and has a charming simplicity. Inside it has white walls and wooden flooring with rugs. The accommodation is basic but homely, with a well equipped kitchen, a separate WC and a separate shower. Each bedroom is fitted with a washbasin. The sitting room has a well stocked shelf full of books, games and puzzles (no television) with a gas fire for heating if required. There is fast wifi throughout the property. Our road is a quiet road made up of little wooden sea side chalets stepping up the hill from the sea at the bottom. It combines a serene setting with spectacular sea views and sunsets as well as excellent facilities nearby. Guest access You have access to the full house, garden at rear and side and your own parking space. The parking space is only suitable for smallish cars. If you have a large car or if you prefer to park in the road, there are usually plenty of spaces opposite the property or in nearby roads. Other things to note The next-door property was demolished over a year ago and is awaiting rebuilding. No work is starting in the near future, but should the circumstances change affected guests will be contacted. Check in is usually from 4pm but it is sometimes possible to check in earlier.
