The space Easy check in as you enter the Kaye House through the front door with combination lock. Welcoming entrance with bench seat and birch mural. Three well appointed bedrooms, and one bath. Bathroom has a tub / shower combination. Entryway also connects to a large, north side living room . This living room connects to the kitchen which is equipped with modern stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cookware, small appliances, spices, and condiments. Fresh coffee beans and coffee grinder are provided so your first morning is all set! The dining and kitchen areas open up to a large sunny, south side living room. Dining table seats 4- 6, with room for two more at the counter. The back door opens up to a patio with grill and outdoor table and chairs and large fence yard. Backyard is landscaped with green lawn , flower containers, vegetable garden and fruit trees. Other things to note Things to do while visiting: Hike Sugarloaf Mtn and/ or Hogsback Mtn. Bike along Lakeshore or rent mountain bikes to bike on our incredible trails, visit Peter White Library, check out our many breweries and coffee shops (Blackrocks Brewery, Crappe Coffee, Contrast Coffee, Ore Dock Brewery, and others), window shop downtown. Go antiquing in Ishpeming/ Negaunee. There is always something cool to be found. The cemetery is really pretty and has a pond with turtles and frogs. The Kaye house is very close to NMU and walking distance to an elementary school with a playground. There are actually other several public playgrounds around the city too. Kaye House is just two blocks away from the Fit Strip which is wooded area with trails. NMU has an art gallery that is nice. There is almost always something going on at the Lower Harbor, a public space by the lake, like concerts or festivals. Do a search for Marquette Downtown Association. It's a very cute little town, and you'll have a wonderful visit.
