Description
A rustic cottage just yards away from Lake Simcoe with a walk out stone beach. Ideal for swimming and relaxing and watching the most amazing sunrises. Yes, this is a real cottage built in 1960, not a fancy home built on a lake. It's located on the very prestigious Eight Mile Point. Just over 1.5 hours away from Toronto and 10 minutes into the town of Orillia. Sleeps 4 people comfortably. There's trails for hiking and a corner store a short walk away. The space This is a cozy country cottage with carpet throughout. There is a living room area TV, DVD player + lots of DVD's. There is no cable TV. The kitchen has pretty much everything one might need, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and filters, bottled drinking water, kettle, plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, pots and cooking utensils. Dish soap, sponges, dish towels, and garbage bags are all provided. 2 person hot tub facing the lake. There is also a bbq with propane provided. There is a dining table and chairs inside and another large table in the sunroom. Outside furniture is also provided along with laundry machines Parking is available in the driveway - big enough to accommodate numerous cars. Other things to note Given this is a true cottage located near the lake and trees, spiders and other insects are a way of life. They will be seen outside and possibly inside. It's a real family cottage built in the 1960's with updates along the way, so not everything is shiny and new. Just have to keep expectations in line with the age of the cottage.
