The National Park next door gives direct access to the most incredible walks and hikes full of hidden treasures. The space Our cottage is in a beautiful location looking out to the Stirling Ranges and next to the Porongurup National Park. It has a country cottage feel. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it is ideal for a couple, 2 couples or families of up to 5. Original paintings, handmade furniture, comfy chairs, a modern kitchen, great beds, good lighting and a warm fire make this the complete holiday space. On the verandah you can gaze at Bluff Knoll perfectly framed by the trees, observe the myriad of birds flitting by or chill in our comfy chairs drinking wine, reading or planning your next adventure. Guest access You can park right at the front door of the cottage. There is plenty of room for 2 or 3 cars. The cottage is ideal for wheelchair access. A unique feature of our location is that you can walk straight into the forest next door to climb peaks and go on inspiring walks along kilometres of secluded trails. You are free to roam our whole property to find secluded picnic spots, beautiful places to sit and look at the view, play a bit of cricket on our field, or play table tennis in our pavilion. You can even go for a dip in our scenic dam. Other things to note We have some suggestions to make your visit here a great experience. 1. Arrive as early as you can on your first day here so you've got time to have a walk around the property and maybe a short climb into the park next door. 2. You are welcome to arrive earlier than 2pm as long as you let us know, drop your bags grab a map of the property and go exploring. 2. If we are part of a longer vacation, consider 3 ,4 days or more days here instead of 2. A week is ideal! So many of our guests say they wish they had booked for longer. Our location is like the hub of a big wagon wheel. In every direction there is a road taking you to something amazing to see and do within 30 minutes to 1 hours drive from here. Mountains to the north, vineyards to the west, Denmark, the coast and Albany to the south and to the east, amazing beaches with sand as white as snow.
