A delightful accommodation on the attic floor of an ancient noble building in the historic center, characterized by original modern design solutions in the sloping ceilings, wall surfaces, and systems. The space The Antico Attico Blu is an apartment on the third floor of an ancient noble palace in the historic center; the accommodation has been customized by geometrically shaping the ceilings and creating contrasts with the colors of the plaster of the walls; it consists of a large entrance, a living space with a sofa (which if necessary becomes a comfortable bed of 1.30x2.00 m) dining table and fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and a full bathroom with shower. The apartment is very bright, being equipped with three chest balconies and several windows, quiet because it overlooks the internal courtyard of the building and is air-conditioned. From the balconies you can admire the profile of the city from above and the dome of the Benedictine Monastery; guests have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, linen, pots and pans, fridge, induction hob, kettle, table and chairs. In the bathroom with two windows there is a hairdryer and a comfortable shower. Guest access Guests have the entire accommodation at their disposal, which has a separate entrance accessible by a staircase accessible from the courtyard of the building. The keys to the accommodation will be provided by me when guests arrive. Other things to note Antico Attico Blu is located in the historic center of Catania on the third floor of an ancient noble building. If you arrive at the airport, you can reach us by taxi (with Radiotaxi 0958833 the rate is fixed at €22) but also with the public shuttle called Alibus that leaves every 25 minutes from the airport at a cost of €4.00 per person and get off at the Archi or Dusmet stops that are the closest to our facility on foot (15 minutes). We offer a transfer service for up to 4 people from our property to the airport at a cost of €15. If you arrive by car, a small car parking space is available upon request for guests in the courtyard of our building at a cost of €10 per day. Paid parking is also possible on the street with a parking meter on weekdays from 8 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 8 pm on the blue stripes in Via Garibaldi (cost €0.87 per hour and €0.29 per half day); it is also possible to park for free in the side streets. Nearby there is also a private guarded parking lot (Via Sardo 18) 5 minutes by foot at a cost of €12 for 24 hours. If you arrive by train or bus at the Central Station you can reach us on foot in 30 minutes or by taking the Metro to Piazza Stesicoro and then on foot in 15 minutes; from the Central Station square you can also arrive by city bus and get off on Via Vittorio Emanuele.
