Beautiful New Mountain View Apartment - Flims Laax

Lovely brand-new apartment with high oak-beam wooden ceilings, hardwood floors, terrace, and balcony. Our mountain home is filled with natural light with views of the mountains and forests. We are in the exclusive village of Flims Waldhaus with amazing skiing, snowboarding, cross-country, hiking, and biking. Great restaurants in walking distance, and we are just a few minutes to the slopes of Flims or LAAX. The bus stop is down the road, and it is easy to ski back home from the nearby piste. The space This brand-new mountain apartment has a large living room with terrace, a gourmet kitchen, and a spacious dining area. The two large bedrooms have very high ceilings and views of the forest. There are also two full bathrooms. The large master bedroom with en-suite shower/bathtub bathroom sleeps 2. The spacious kids' bedroom sleeps a maximum of 3 children, and has a balcony overlooking the forest. The second bathroom has a walk-in shower. **This apartment is suitable for a couple or for a family. The sleeping arrangements accommodate a total of 2 adults in the master bedroom + up to 3 children in the kids' room. Only two adults + up to 3 children are permitted to stay.** The apartment also offers a large covered terrace overlooking the forests and mountain peaks, and a balcony overlooking the forest. Every window in the apartment has a beautiful view of the surrounding area, and offers complete privacy. The dining room normally seats up to six people. We offer two extra chairs in the apartment if you have dinner guests over and need space for 8. We also provide a high chair for babies and toddlers. The living room has a very large, comfortable L-shaped sofa where you can hang out after a big day outdoors. We have a Geneva bluetooth speaker, and decided against a TV, but you are very welcome to bring a laptop or iPad; there is high speed WiFi throughout the apartment. The gourmet kitchen is well appointed to meet all our guests' needs, including: - De'Longhi Nespresso coffee machine, tea kettle - Bodum french presses (cafetières), milk frother, and tea pots - toaster, pizza baking pan, salad spinner, fondue pot, fondue forks - baking dishes, including pie/tart dishes, baking trays, cupcake pans - measuring cups and measuring spoons, handheld mixer, digital kitchen scale - footed cake plates, covered cheese board, serving dishes, bowls and trays - carafe and beverage pitcher, vases - a variety of cookbooks in English and German We love and welcome children, and we also have for your use children's dishes, cups, utensils, and placemats, a high chair for children up to 3 years old, and books, puzzles, various board and card games, and toys for children of all ages, as well as for adults. Guest access The apartment is on the top floor with very high ceilings. The windows have views in 3 directions, as well as a larger terrace and balcony with same views. There is a ski room downstairs at the garage level, for all your ski / snow equipment and boots. It is accessible through a door next to the elevator on the ground floor. There is also a bike and sled / sledge room downstairs in the garage, to the right of the automatic garage door. There is a laundry room in the cellar level with a brand-new, large-capacity washing machine, dryer, and an large air drying room. This is all complementary for our guests. In the garage we have a fast Tesla charger, free of charge for guests. The spot is indicated with our family name. There is also a second parking spot outside for guests, also indicated with our name. There is a back entrance to the house at the ground level, one floor below the top floor where our apartment is located. From there, you can see a small walking path that goes up in to the forest. You can walk to a small lake in about 10 minutes. Keep a bit on the left after walking up the hill. If you follow one of the paths or roads behind the house and keep a bit on the right, you reach the Flims Waldhaus Alpine Grand Hotel within 2-3 minutes, with wonderful dining and a trendy bar. If there is a lot of fresh snow, there is some fun sledding / sledging for the kids behind the house as well. Other things to note There is a laundry room in the basement of the building with a high-end, large-capacity washing machine and dryer which you can use at no charge. There is also a large drying room to hang laundry if needed, also complementary. We love our brand-new mountain retreat and of course want to keep it in excellent shape for the future enjoyment of our guests and for ourselves. If anything breaks or is damaged during your stay due to normal wear and tear, we will not charge it to the your deposit. Otherwise we may charge the replacement cost. We have very friendly neighbors who can hear loud noises. Please be quiet after 10pm, and kids should be reminded to not run around the house or make loud noises after this time. Please note that shoes, pets and smoking are NOT allowed in the apartment. Smoking on the terrace, balcony, or in the rest of the building is also not allowed. This is a shoe-free apartment; please wear slippers instead, which you may want to bring. All outdoor shoes must be left outside our apartment entrance (there is a convenient bench). Skis, boards, and boots should always remain in the downstairs ski room. In order to keep the house nice for future guests, we unfortunately will have to charge a cleaning fee to guests that do not follow these important house rules.
