The space GREAT LOCATION-- This 1930's English style cottage, which was recently renovated and decorated in a '50's style, sits on a quiet dead-end street with 9 houses, It is a short walk (half mile) to the charming village of North Woodstock with its walkable downtown, filled with shops, two breweries, and numerous restaurants including the landmark Woodstock Inn. The town of Lincoln is only another half-mile away and it has an even larger number of restaurants and shops. It also has a movie theatre and playhouse. HOUSE LAYOUT: The house features an open kitchen-dining-living room area, three bedrooms upstairs and one in the finished basement. That space also has a brand new Game Room with a lit-up air hockey table, a foosball game, and shuffleboard,plus a full bath and laundry room. Entering the house is a large mudroom for all your gear. * Living Room: Large-screen, Smart TV,, Apple TV, DVD movies and player * Kitchen: All new appliances and everything you'll need for cooking including spices, condiments, and staples, along with blender, crock pot, waffle iron and other such gear. Not to mention All Clad cookware, and a coffee pot. * Bedrooms: The Master bedroom has a brand new King size, DreamCloud mattress--with remote controlled risers. Had a tough day on the slopes? Just raise up your legs and give them a break! The second bedroom has a Queen Bed , as well as one of the bunk beds. The third, and middle, bedroom upstairs, has the top bunk bed and a work space with built-in desk. The fourth bedroom is in the built-out basement and features a Double Bed plus twin bunk beds. Bathrooms: * The first bathroom is downstair on the first floor: It is large with a full-size shower/tub. * The second full bathroom is brand new in the built-out basement and also contains a new Washer/Dryer. PET FRIENDLY-- Dogs are welcome! To save you from lugging everything around, we have a dog bed, bowls, treats, toys, poop bags and scooper, dog gates, and a dog run set up in the back yard. Note, we have a limit of two dogs and there is an extra fee for the second pet of $50. KID FRIENDLY-- There is a large, flat backyard big enough to play soccer, whiffle ball, or a little football. And there are sprinklers, scooters, a kid-size basketball net, toy teepee and other toys to keep the kids outside and having fun during your stay. Inside, kids love the bunk bed setup in the upstairs bedrooms. Yes, that is plura,l bedrooms, as this is a one-of-a-kind bunk bed. It's a bit hard to describe but basically, one bunk bed is in one room, and the matching bed above it is in the other, adjacent room. Each is built into the wall itself, . And downstairs, next to the living room is a small room filled with board games, toys, books, and games, including some throwbacks like Lincoln Logs, TinkerToys, Dominoes, and more.. ACTIVITIES-- Outdoor activities, which roll out during the lead up to Memorial Day weekend, include a 3-hole Disc Golf course, Badminton, Volleyball, Tetherball, Bucket Golf, Corn Hole, Whiffle Ball, and Soccer, plus the Kids' activities described above. For water sports, we have a number of Tubes and Floats to use in the many amazing local rivers with their swimming holes and rapids. We also have 4 Kayaks you can take to local lakes and ponds. ALL FOR FREE! Guest access The whole house is available, while the kayaks and tubes are in the garage. Other things to note There is a large, wide-screen, smart TV from which you can access Netflix, Hulu, and Apple TV with your own logins. We offer early check-in and late checkout when possible for $30/hour. We have to coordinate with our cleaner, however, to be sure it's feasible so please let us know as early as possible if you wish take advantage of this.
