GREAT LOCATION-- This 1930's English style cottage, which was recently renovated and decorated in a '50's style, sits on a quiet dead-end street with 9 houses, It is a short walk (half mile) to the charming village of North Woodstock with its walkable downtown filled with shops, two breweries and numerous restaurants (including the Woodstock Inn). HOUSE VIBE-- The house has a unique feel with hand-painted stenciling and other personal touches. Let the Art Deco decor, antiques, and wallpaper take you back in time! HOUSE LAYOUT: The house features an open kitchen-dining-living room area, three bedrooms upstairs and one in the finished basement. That space also has a brand new Game Room with a lit-up air hockey table, a foosball game, and shuffleboard (coming soon!),plus a full bath and laundry room. Entering the house is a large mudroom for all your gear. * Living Room: Large-screen, smart TV,, Apple TV, DVD movies and player * Kitchen: All new appliances and everything you'll need for cooking including spices, condiments, and staples, along with blender, crock pot, waffle iron and other such gear. Not to mention All Clad cookware, a coffee pot and a Keurig machine, and an Ember Cup to keep your coffee always hot. * Bedrooms: The Master bedroom has a brand new King size, DreamCloud mattress--with remote controlled risers. Had a tough day on the slopes? Just raise up your legs and give them a break! The second bedroom has a Queen Bed , as well as one of the bunk beds. The third and middle bedroom, has the top bunk bed and a work space with built-in desk. The fourth bedroom is in the built out basement and features a Double Bed and twin bunk beds. The Living Room has a pull out sofa. * The first bathroom is downstair on the first floor: It is large with a full-size shower/tub. * The second full bathroom is brand new in the built-out basement and also contains a new Washer/Dryer. PET FRIENDLY-- Dogs are welcome! To save you from lugging everything around, we have a dog crate, dog bed, bowls, treats, toys, poop bags and scooper, dog gates, and a dog run set up in the back yard. Cats welcome, too! Note, we have a limit of two dogs and there is an extra fee for the second dog of $50. KID FRIENDLY-- There is a large, flat backyard big enough to play soccer, whiffle ball, or a little foot. Volleyball and badminton nets are also set up and ready to be used. And there is a croquet set, sprinklers, scooters, a kid-size basketball net, and other toys to keep the kids outside and having fun during your stay. Inside, kids love the beds in the upstairs bedrooms--one-of-a-kind bunk beds that are a bit hard to describe. But basically, one bunk bed is in one room, and the matching bed is in the other room. Each is built into the wall itself, . And downstairs, next to the living room is a small room filled with board games, toys, books, and games, including some throwbacks like Lincoln, TinkerToys, Dominoes, and more.. The whole house is available, while the kayaks and tubes are in the garage. We live 90 minutes south of the house but, of course, are always reachable by phone or text and will respond as quickly as possible to questions or issues. We also have connections in the local that can handle any issues that might come up. A small residential neighborhood on a dead end street. There is a large, wide-screen, smart TV from which you can access Netflix, Hulu, and Apple TV with your own logins.
