This guest house was expertly crafted with real wood floors and beams, carpeted bedroom, and tiled full bathroom. The kitchenette includes farmhouse sink, granite, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and is served by a large island and stools. The great room features a large HDTV with Sonos audio system and Apple TV. Entrance is by exterior stairs to a private porch, with comfy chairs providing stunning westerly views of the nearby Blue Ridge mountains. 100% of the power used by this apartment is sourced from solar. Guests will have access to the entire guest house, high-speed internet via wifi is available throughout. The accommodations were designed specifically with guests in mind, while the main house serves as our principal residence. We welcome interactions should there be any questions or concerns during your visit, and we look forward to making new acquaintances! We live in a small residential neighborhood, adjacent to King Family Vineyards and only minutes from downtown Crozet, Chiles Orchard, Mint Springs Park, Old Trail golf course, and the well-known and well-traveled Rt. 151. By car we are 15 minutes from UVA; 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville, Monticello, and Skyline Drive; and 30 minutes from Staunton and Wintergreen Resort. Our neighborhood is right next to King Family Vineyards (2-3 minutes by car) and 10 minutes from Veritas Vineyards, so particularly convenient for guests who are attending weddings or other functions at either venue. We are only a few minutes from I-64 (Exit 107) and only a short drive to a wide range of cultural and historic sites; to music venues and theaters; and to fine restaurants, orchards, breweries, vineyards, and the cities of Charlottesville and Staunton.
