This space has been a favorite of our guests for years. Enjoy your morning coffee/tea on your private balcony as you overlook the back gardens and plan your adventures for the day. After exploring Door County, relax in a 2 person hammock and enjoy epic birdwatching. Retire to your room decorated in vintage antiques and authentic Native American artwork and decor. A museum unto itself. In addition to the Queen size bed, this room has a vintage rocker and matching chair perfect for reading, along with a vintage chaise lounge with a snuggly soft blanket allowing for fantastic naps! Clear your mind (of the daily electronic demands if you so choose) and certainly refresh your inner spirit. An entire additional room is available for separate lounging, listening to vinyl albums, snoozing, and reading. Here for business? Catch up on emails at a desk which overlooks the expansive front yard. High speed WiFi, TV w/Netflix and Amazon Prime, coffee maker, microwave & fridge are exclusively available for guest use within this room. A pair of cozy guest robes to use during your stay will contribute to you feeling right at home. A variety of herbal teas & hot cocoa are provided and fresh baked cookies will greet you upon your arrival. A full, homemade breakfast is provided and typically consists of fresh fruit topped w/ greek yogurt & Scotland Yard granola or baked apples, followed by an egg dish, french toast or pancakes. Dietary needs are accommodated. Weather permitting, guests dine at private outdoor tables adjacent to our pondless waterfall. When weather is not conducive to outdoor dining, breakfast is served privately in our Great Room or with other guests in the dining area. For this reason, please communicate any dietary allergies or intolerances. Other things to note Weather permitting, horseshoes & other lawn games, including a croquet set and cornhole/bean bag toss are available for guest use. The porch swing or hammock may be an ideal place to take a break and watch the wildlife. Perhaps the pileated woodpeckers and chick-a-dees will stop by.
