"IRIS " twin bedroom/2 large beds

The spacious "IRIS" twin bedroom with A/C and its own bathroom, across the hall, is on the 2nd floor of an original Art Deco villa from 1913. The room is accessed by the original wooden stairs from the first floor. Communal facilities on the first floor include a well-equipped kitchen, large lounge, toilet and terrace. The villa is in a tranquil setting with covered seating areas in the large garden. All facilities are within walking distance. The sea and historic old town are 20 mins walk. The space The "IRIS" is a spacious twin or double bedroom (30 m2) with two large single beds (120 x 200 cm each), which, when put together, are of the King size. We are a family run business and our facilities are unique. We have a lot to offer tourists to Pula in Istria. The spacious "IRIS" room is located on the 2nd floor of Art Deco VINTAGE VILLA MAGNOLIA, built in 1913. The historic villa was built in Viener Sezession style for Austrian Empire Navy officer, Julius Riedlein (1875-1961), his wife Eugenia Lupppis (1887-1984) and their daughter Ingrid (1912-2008) , by the famous local architect Giuseppe Heininger. Wifi is available throughout the house. The Villa is approximately 15 -20 minutes walk from beautiful pebble beaches and the historic old town. In the vicinity are restaurants, bars, supermarkets, walking & biking paths, forests, parks, tennis courts, marinas and diving centers. In the summer, in the ancient Roman amphitheatre, events are organised like 2 Cellos , Jose Carreras etc. There is also a SALSA PARTY every week on an open-air stage in the town. It is possible to organise trips to visit some of the most attractive locations in Europe: Venice, Dubrovnik, Brioni islands or Plitvice Lakes. The Villa is situated in the residential suburb VERUDA with all urban facilities. VINTAGE VILLA MAGNOLIA is unique. We have kept much of its original decor but have added some new modern furnishings, in keeping with its style, for comfort and convenience. The famous Georg von Trapp family villa (made famous by the movie "Sound of music") is situated close by. Also available, in the newly renovated ground floor facilities, are holistic therapies (Hatha yoga, Shiatsu & Reflexology) upon request. A truly unique holiday experience is available upon booking our residence for your holidays. Guest access Guests have use of a modern, well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge, downstairs toilet & shower room and front terraces with seating. There are also covered seating areas and gazebos in the huge garden with its mature trees and flower beds. BBQs can be arranged upon request. During your stay We are available for our guests at all times. Other things to note City tax is not included in the price and has to be paid on arrival: 1 euro per person per day.
