In a typical building of Castello district - with LAGO design - I've reinterpreted a 95 square meters apartment combining design, colors, and historical elements. A cozy home where you can get away and immerse yourself in the real Venice. The apartment is located on the third and fourth floors. Up to 6 beds. The building has no elevator like most of the others in Venice. The space The WelcomeLAGOVenezia is a design apartment, the result of LAGO's continuous desire for research and evolution, where all the elements contribute to create a unique place in which to relax and be inspired. Thanks to a play of colors, transparencies and geometries, the light that welcomes you is always different and the points of view are always new and unexpected. Once the building's door is closed, the confusion of the city remains outside. It will be easy to feel at home, even in the heart of the tourist Venice. The interior design preserves some elements of the typical Venetian construction history: exposed beams and a scorzoni wall. Guest access Guests have at their disposal 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and the kitchen and living room. Upon request, I can provide a travel cot that you should prepare yourself. Other things to note Starting from the 24th of August 2011 The Municipality of Venice has established the tourist tax with City Council resolution no.83 of the 23-24 June 2011. The tax is applied to the overnight stays of non-residents in the Municipality of Venice for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights. For this accommodation facility the tax amounts to Euros 4 per person per night. The following exemptions are available: • minors up to ten years of age; • all those who are staying at youth hostels and at accommodation facilities belonging to the Municipality; • all those who are undergoing rehabilitative therapies at health facilities within the municipal boundaries; • all those who are assisting patients admitted to health facilities within the municipal boundaries, allowing one accompanying person per patient; • both parents accompanying a patient; • the coach drivers and the tour couriers assisting groups organised by travel and tourism agencies, consisting at least of twenty five members. The exemption applies to a coach driver and a tour courier every twenty five group members; • volunteers offering their services in the city, during events organised by the Municipal, Provincial or Regional Administration, or during environmental emergencies; • members of the police forces, both national and local, and also of the national fire service, who are staying for service reasons.
