El Dorado - Swan Valley - Rustic Horse Farm Stay

Stephanie and Trevor welcome you to our beautiful property. The entire ground floor is yours to enjoy and sits on a massive river front environment and comfortably accommodates 8 to 16 guests in the heart of the Swan Valley Tourist area. Enjoy the relaxed pace of our equestrian farm stay. For the most part you will have the home to yourselves as we are out and about or in our private upstairs area. Very secluded - enjoy the rural views over the Vineyards and the Swan River to the Hills. The space This is the ideal home for group bookings of 8 to 16+ people, we only take 1 booking at time so you have exclusive use of the home: >> family gatherings, >> wedding accommodation, >> church camps, >> corporate get away etc. The house is set back towards the middle of the 4Ha property which means it is private and secure. It is also fully equipped so all you need to bring is your food and luggage. Located on the Swan river with direct river access you may also like to bring a kayak? There are plenty of facilities with 3 bathrooms and 4 toilets, the kitchen has most things you need to cater for a large group including the option of a BBQ out back. As a working equestrian property your can interact with the horses (pat, groom and feed - supervised only) and we also have peacocks, chickens, 4 sheep and a dog who loves to play (primarily she will stay outside or with us but feel free to let them in or not.) If you are lucky you will get to see some native wildlife living around the property. If you want a close up experience with Kangaroos, Koalas, Wombat, Snakes, Native Birds and many other iconic Australian animals and farm animals we recommend you plan to visit Whiteman Park (5 minutes drive from the property.) (TIP: While 2 nights is good most guests who stay 2 nights wished that they planned for 3 or more nights with so much to do on the property and close by.) After seeing the sights, guests can play a game of tennis (rackets and balls supplied), table tennis, pool or just sit back and relax for the evening. The generous sized kitchen is shared with us, we'll give you preferential use and prepare our meals before or after you. There is parking for up to 12 cars and room for a small bus to park and turn around. Behind the home we ask you not to enter the work sheds as this area is private. Feel free to walk around the rest of the property, however do not enter paddocks or stables unless supervised. There is a security gate which requires a code to access the property. While it is generally quiet you will hear the neighbours from time to time when they are working on their vines and also the planes flying overhead at various times of the day. You will love the property, the location, the experience and us as hosts. We look forward to hosting you all. Guest access Guest have access to the entire house excluding the 1st floor. Front and rear gardens, tennis court plus access to the river. During your stay Living onsite we are available most times, while we are happy to chat and introduce you to the animals we will generally leave you to do your own thing. Other things to note >> The booking price is based on the number of guests staying - the base rate is for up to 8 guests, a fee of $55 per guest per night applies to additional guests. (plus Airbnb service fee extra.) >> The house is for the use of paying guests, extra charges may apply for visitors during the day who stay more than 1 hour or past 6pm. >> Please advise us if you intend to hold a function for visitors not staying as guests - prior approval is required and additional fees will apply. >> Providing you are respectful of us and our home you are free to celebrate your get away with food, drink, activities and music throughout your stay (note after 11pm we have a noise curfew in most areas - you can continue moderated activities in the games room if you wish to stay up later). >> As we have a dog and a variety of animals on the property we do not permit guests or visitors to brings dogs.
