Caro's a delightful cottage for up to six people. Ground floor double bedroom with en-suite shower room. First floor twin bedroom and bedroom with bunk beds. Far reaching countryside views and just 1 mile from the village of Pelynt with its two shops and a pub. The space Caro’s is our largest cottage, ideal for families wanting to spend quality time together. Like Penny’s cottage, this cottage was reputed to have been named after an old cart horse which once worked the land at Cartole Farm. You’ll approach the cottage via seven steps and a pathway. The cottage is set alongside a large lawn, with far-reaching views across the fields, perfect for a restful break while watching the children as they play. The cottage has an outdoor seating area for al fresco dining or stargazing on a dark night. Centrally heated, the cottage has a large ground-floor double bedroom with space for a cot, plus an en-suite shower room with a heated towel rail and a fan heater. The double bed has a hotel-quality pocket-sprung mattress. The large lounge has two comfortable settees and a flat-screen TV with Freeview. There is a modern, flame-effect electric fire to keep you warm during the more wintry Cornish nights. The downstairs bathroom has under-floor heating, a bath with a shower over, a heated towel rail, a shaver-point and a fan heater. Follow two steps from the entrance hall, and you will find the large, well-appointed kitchen/dining room, which boasts a built-in oven with a ceramic hob, an extractor fan, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, and a microwave. On the first floor is a twin bedroom, with hotel-quality, pocket-sprung mattresses and beautiful countryside views from the window. The second bedroom has bunk beds, a vanity unit and views over the garden. There are two allocated parking spaces for Caro’s Cottage in the main car park. We are happy to accept up to two well-behaved dogs, over 1 year of age, by arrangement. Guest access You will have access to the whole of Caro's Cottage and the grounds along with a field walk and play area.
