Comfortable Cute and Economical beach cabin

Close to the Pawleys Island beaches, and restaurants. You’ll love our beach cabin because of the location. We are in a residential neighborhood away from high-rise condos and crowds, yet just about a mile from the beach access and a few blocks from fishing on the marsh. Walk for dinner at the Raw Bar, Landolfi's, or Cafe Piccolo, or grab some groceries at the Lowes Foods or Food Lion (all walking distance) and enjoy a meal at home. Short drive to Brookgreen Gardens and 15 minutes to the cool Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk. This is a five bedroom beach cabin approx. 1.2 miles from the nearest beach access point. The fifth bedroom is used as a cool hang out space for the teens, but has a comfy sofa bed. From this bedroom you have direct access to the back patio. The cabin was unloved and in shambles, but we have been restoring it to a cozy little place by the sea. As such, those who prefer high rise condos with lots of new stuff and white walls may not enjoy our place. We have left the knotty pine walls and heart pine floors. The house and kitchen are purposely designed for a low maintenance. The kitchen includes a full sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, large double bowl apron sink, cabinets, and small butcher block rolling cart. There is silverware, glasses, and dishes for 10 guest. There are also 3-5 pots and pans, small baking set, manual can opener, a small grill set, and wine bottle opener. Things we do not keep at the cabin are things like gourmet cookware, a lot of extra utensils, and any other optional items. A wide variety of houses and neighbors in this neighborhood. You will see every thing from people leaving for work at 7:00am, to beach goers on bikes and golf carts, to retirees walking their dogs. On some nights the neighborhood is super quiet, but on some weekends the neighbors may be having fun next door (fire pit, coming from the beach, drumming, etc.) and a bit talkative. We aren't bothered by it, but those who are sensitive to noise or his clutter may object. You should have a car for the best trip; however, there are several restaurants in walking distance including the Raw Bar, Lanzoni's, and a pizza/ice cream parlor. Lowes foods is an easy walk. There is a bus that travels twice per day to Myrtle Beach for the locals, but it is very slow and infrequent.
