A cute flat in an old renewed house in the middle of the vineyards in Lavaux, world UNESCO heritage site. You will have a kitchen, shower and toilet, a living room with sofa and TV, and a room with 2 beds (put together or apart). Very quiet situation The space This flat is called "Suite Lac". It has 1 bedroom (2 beds), 1 dining room, 1 kitchen, 1 shower, 1 toilet. The view from every window over the vineyard of Lavaux, Lake Geneva and the Alps is stunning. 2 hrs from Zermatt, 1 hour from Geneva Airport. 5 minutes from the closest (charming) city, Vevey. 10 minutes by foot and you are at the lovely village of St-Saphorin, and the lake. A cute flat : 1 bedroom with 2 beds, (double bed or separated beds) + 1 cosy living-room with TV) overlooking Lake Geneva and the Alps, located in a vineyard in the heart of the Lavaux vineyard terraces, famous World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. Just 10 minutes by car from Montreux (15 by train), 20 minutes from Lausanne, 45 minutes from Geneva airport, a base for excursions in the Alps. 5 minutes by foot and you reach the lakeshore where you can have nice swims in summertime. Breakfast on request (16 chf/person), not included in the price of your night. This flat is called "Côté Lac" and it's on the upper ground floor of an old renewed house with 2 appartments for guests. It has a magnificent view on Lake Geneva, the Alps, France and the vineyards. This flat has 1 bedroom with 2 beds and a cosy living room with a sofa and a TV. The flat has its own shower, bathroom-sink, WC, and its own kitchenette. The situation is quiet, in the middle of the countryside. The Chillon Castle is only 10 minutes away from here. In summertime, you can walk to the lake and swim in it. It will take you less than 5 minutes to get to the beach of St-Saphorin Lavaux, of 15 minutes to reach the beach of Rivaz, the next village in the direction of Lausanne. The next shop is in Vevey (10 minutes walk + 4 minutes train - one train every hour) or in Chexbres, that you can reach in 3 minutes by car. There are 3 restaurants in the area. One very fine and one good and reasonable price in St-Saphorin Lavaux. And another quite famous italian restaurant is in the next village, 20 minutes walk from our place, in Rivaz. You can easily come to our place by train (St-Saphorin Lavaux station) and walk to our place on a very beautiful pathway leading you through the ancient village and through the vineyards. It's a great 10-15 walk, but quite steep... That's why, upon arrival with your luggage, choose the train station of Vevey, where you will take a taxi that will drop you within 5-10 minutes at our place. It costs about 20.- chf. Drivers, you can park your car down our house, along the main road. Le Domaine du Burignon (name of our place) is a small paradise. On sunny days, you can lie on deck chairs in the garden, go for nice walks around our place without a car, have a glass of wine on the terrace. One thing is clear for all our visitors : it would be a pity to stay just for one night ! We have a baby-travel-bed you can borrow on request. WiFi, independent entrance, garden, terrace, buy and drink wine, since you are among winemakers. Pets not allowed. No smoking. On request, breakfast served in our reception hall. Price: chf. 16.-/person. A rich breakfast with yogurts, eggs, different kinds of bread, butter, home made jam, local cheese and ham, fruit, juice, milk, tea, coffee. Guest access One can have breakfast in the reception hall. The garden in front of the flats is for our guests. There is a coffee machine, a kettle and tea-bags always available for our guests. Coffee capsules are offered, cream and sugar of course also. It has a magnificent view on Lake Geneva, the Alps, France and the vineyards. The situation is quiet, in the middle of the countryside.
