The Cottage

The Cottage provides accommodation for up to 3 guests. Close to Benbulben Mountain with views overlooking the Wild Atlantic Ocean, you will fall in love with our little bit of heaven in North Sligo. Staying in our cosy cottage allows you to immerse yourself in local attractions. Located on the same grounds as our family home, the cottage provides a chance for friendly interactions during your stay. Feel free to reach out for questions or requests – we're here to ensure a memorable experience. The space A beautiful cottage with triple glazed doors and windows. This is the perfect accommodation for a Wild Atlantic getaway. Situated along the Atlantic coastline, The Cottage is located approximately 18km North of Sligo town just off the main road (N15) and 2.5km from Grange, the local village (2min drive/30min walk). Grange is a small village with a huge character and loads to offer – a traditional pub, shop, restaurant, petrol station etc. The ground floor comprises of a contemporary open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The corner sofa is perfect to chill out on after a day of hiking or exploring the local area. There is also a modern wet-room with shower. Upstairs features a cosy bedroom area contains a double and single bed. As can be seen from the photographs, the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom area is sloped, which may not suit taller guests, it's a cosy and compact space! The cottage is ideal for those who want to spend some quality time exploring the outstanding North West of Ireland. Also perfect as an overnight stop for those travelling the Wild Atlantic Way. Alternatively, this property is ideally suited to those who wish to relax and enjoy some quiet time in the scenic countryside surrounding this spectacular North Sligo location. There is a beautiful sea view from the site and the local area has plenty of attractions to offer which we would be more than happy to recommend. We are constantly updating the Cottage, so if there's anything you believe we're missing send us a message and we'll do our best to have it before your stay! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the entire cottage, which is located opposite our family home. There is free parking on site. Flexible Check-in and Check-out times; we will try our best to be available at a time that is convenient to you. Other things to note FREE WiFi available throughout the Cottage The Cottage is located on the same grounds as our family home. We have two dogs, Willow and Cedar, and two cats, Ecco and Lit. The cottage is suitable for young children. For guests with young children we can provide a travel cot, changing mat and highchair upon request. Laundry: we do not provide a laundry service, however, there are two self service laundry stations in the local village of Grange and throughout Ireland. Public Transport: There is a Local link bus service which has a hail and ride stop nearby the cottage (on the N15), Sligo TFI Local Link Bus Services. There is also a Bus Eireann service running from Sligo to Derry which passes by the Cottage. Cooking essentials such as plates, pots, utensils, and basic supplies like cooking oil and salt will be supplied. There is free parking outside the Cottage. Towels and Linens will be provided. Toiletries such as a hairdryer, soap and shampoo will be supplied. We have a storage heater which runs on a timer. We also have an electric heater which can be turned on if you'd like it a bit warmer. There's a TV in the living area, but there's so much to keep you occupied in the surrounding countryside, you probably wont have time to watch it!
