The Orangery at Orchard House
The Orangery at Orchard House
Description
As summer draws to a close, plan a refreshingly rural Autumn break in Somerset, with lots to see, do, taste and experience from the serenity of your own space. The Orangery is conveniently close to the cultural delights of Wells, Frome, Bruton, Castle Cary, Glastonbury and The Newt, only a mile from the Bath & West Showground with its lively calendar of events, and surrounded by great walks. For tranquillity, space, and restoration: welcome to the peace and comfort of our Somerset sanctuary. The space The Orangery has been designed as an oasis of peace away from the mad busyness of modern life. Filled with light and air, we want our guests to relax and enjoy the serenity of their surroundings. Inside, underfloor heating is supplemented by a warm woodburning stove for cooler nights and a state of the art TV for cosy evenings. Outside, your own private Palm Garden awaits, with tinkling water to soothe as you bask in the morning sun with breakfast, coffee or a good book. For the evening, your Mediterranean Courtyard with olive and lavender affords a delightful place to sit with a glass of wine, recalibrate, listen to birdsong and just 'be'. Guest access The entire Orangery is exclusively for our guests to enjoy, with its own private Palm Garden and Mediterranean Courtyard. Clean and welcoming, The Orangery is a serene and safe place for anyone wishing to get away from the busyness of life to a beautiful rural space, whether to work, play, rest, revive - or all four together. Other things to note If desired, we are happy to provide the makings of breakfast (Continental or Full English), to save guests needing to transport chilled provisions in a warm car. Items will be charged at cost, with receipts provided, from your preferred supermarket (Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Aldi or Lidl) For those guests staying for a longer period of time, local laundry services (washing and ironing) are available.
