Pickers Cottage at Mount Ophir Estate

Overlooking sun-drenched paddocks, The Pickers Cottage is an expansive home designed to comfortably accommodate up to 20 guests. There are eight queen beds (all with the ability to be split into singles), and two bunk beds shared across the Cottage's six bedrooms. Each room has a connecting ensuite. The space At the heart of the cottage, a large dining table and living room seats 20, perfect for long lunches and relaxed afternoons. Whether it's a big family reunion, a celebration with friends or a team-building corporate workshop, this home offers an inviting and flexible space to come together. Pickers Cottage offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding countryside, including the Murray River Basin and the Snowy Mountains to the east - the perfect backdrop to the Cottage's outdoor dining area and barbeque. A light, continental-style breakfast will be provided for guests to enjoy including a freshly baked white sourdough loaf from Valentines Bakery, milk, tea, coffee and sugar. Upon arrival, you'll also receive a bottle of All Saints Estate wine. Mount Ophir Estate is currently operating as an exclusive site for unique, luxury accommodation, private events, including Rutherglen weddings and corporate getaways. Guest access As a guest of the estate, you are able to access the whole property for long walks, bike riding, reading and fishing. We ask kindly that you do not feed or try to pat the animals on the estate. Please park your cars neatly away from the house and farm gates. Other things to note Mount Ophir Estate has various houses and we ask our guests to be considerate to other guests on the property and our neighbours. Please do not light fires outside at any time of the year as it is a serious fire risk. We are a working farm, so we ask politely for you to look after the environment and leave minimal waste. Please notify the host how you would like the beds configured for your stay.
