Riverside Retreat … with beautiful water views

Located at the calm waters of the riverfront you can watch the yacht racing, Oscar W paddle steamer pass by or casually walk along the shore to the cafes & the local activities. Comfortable furnishings throughout, the master bedroom has a postrepedic king sized bed & views of the water. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. There is also a small public jetty in front. Walk or ride anywhere! Maybe catch the train to Victor or cruise the river. Everything is a few hundred meters! The space This entire 2 bedroom unit is available for you to enjoy. We have a big screen TV and WiFi, Netflix and Stan, large comfortable lounges as well as a 4 seater round table dining. There is a full working kitchen complete with stove oven and microwave. We have an array of utensils and crockery. Nearly all of what you need is here as this is a home away from home for us. There are built in robes to the master bedroom and the second bedroom as well as very comfortable beds. The home has reverse cycle air conditioning for year around comfort. We have a laundry with a washing machine and drier for those who stay long term. There is a small private courtyard and a fantastic world awaits you out the front... that’s the place to be relaxing, exploring and watching the world go by. Guest access You have access to the entire unit and front lawn area as well as the back courtyard. There is a small jetty across the road to moor your boat or to take some chairs across to watch the best hours of the day.... sunset and sunrise are the best. We often take our morning coffee over, sit on the jetty park and watch the world awake.... it’s worth the early rise! Alternatively in the evening we take our wine and nibbles at sunset hour .... it’s equally beautiful! Don’t forget your camera. We highly recommend the riverfront path as well as the drive to the barrage.... you can walk across and maybe catch a glimpse of the pelicans feeding if they are releasing the water from the river at that time... it’s quite a special experience. There are also seals at the barrage gates who enjoy an easy feed. We catch the train to Port Elliott.... the views along the way are amazing, lunch at the Flying Fish Cafe or the bakery is great. There is also a great walk around the foreshore rocks for a great picture opportunity. Other things to note This unit is located in a small riverside complex within walking distance to everything local and has views of the water from the lounge, dining and master bedroom.
