Nestled in Upland, close to Taylor University, Indiana Wesleyan, and Ball State, this is a convenient location to have a relaxing stay. The cottage has two bedrooms, one bath, a fully stocked kitchen, and indoor/outdoor space to gather. You are welcome to enjoy a campfire in the yard or sit on the porch and enjoy the sunset. Come stay with us and enjoy all that Upland has to offer! After parking in your dedicated spaces, enter into the private garden area and enjoy outdoor seating and a fire pit. Once you enter the cottage, you'll find a dining area, full bathroom, and a living area complete with comfortable seating and a smart TV. The two bedrooms are on your left. Bedroom 1 contains 1 queen bed and bedroom 2 has two twins. Each offers plenty of natural light. The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare meals. You can walk to many convenience stores, The Bridge Cafe (for coffee and a bite), The Upland Town Library, Ivanhoe's (famous for 100 shakes and 100 sundaes), and a small grocery store. Payne's Restaurant featuring British/American fusion food is 5 minutes drive. In addition to it’s world famous Fish n’ Chips, there is espresso and many craft beers and hand picked wines available in addition to the food. Starbucks is only a 5 minute drive away, as are numerous other restaurants. We're happy to provide recommendations! The cottage is conveniently located near Upland's parks and excellent trail system. Taylor University is less than 1 mile away. IWU is a short 15 minute drive and Ball State is 30 minutes away. **The Cottage on 2nd is next to our other Airbnb property, The Dragonfly House. Book both for your large gatherings! Guests have access to the whole cottage, yard and parking. We love to host and live in Upland nearby. Let us know if you need any spices or an extra items for the kitchen. Our neighborhood is friendly and quiet. There is a group home across the street that houses special need adults. Many joggers line our street from Taylor University which is about a 5 minute stroll to the beautiful campus. Not much public transport at all. Possibly Uber drivers on occasion.
