Hillrise Cottage is a peaceful and picturesque property on a hill above the gum trees with spectacular views of the Grampians to the west. 15 km from Ararat and 30 km from Halls Gap, Hillrise Cottage is a great base for exploring the beautiful Grampians region, (30mins away), taking in the local wineries or just relaxing. Chill out in this unique home, stroll around the 6 acre property and check out the large dam, beautiful trees and abundant wildlife. Hillrise is 2.5 hours west of Melbourne. The space Hillrise Cottage has: •Two bedrooms (sleeps 4 or 5). •Master bedroom (Queen Bed). •Second bedroom (Double and a Single). •Porta-cot and high chair for infant or toddler. •Fully equipped kitchen, including espresso machine. •Laundry facilities (washing machine/tumble dryer). •Newly installed split-system air-conditioning •Wood-burning fire •Weber BBQ (gas) •HD TV, BluRay/DVD player, (USB and HDMI inputs), XBox 360, Game & DVD collection. •Mp3 iPod dock Sound System with bluetooth function •All linen supplied, including towels. •Plenty of room for children and pets to play (please note the fences are not pet proof). •Dobsonian telescope for star & planet spotting. •6 acres of open grass and forest with mature River Red Gums and Pine Trees. •Large dam (adult supervision required for young children). Guest access You will have the whole property to yourselves so feel free to wander the block, enjoy the tranquility of the dam and fish for yabbies if you like! If the fireplace is running low on logs, you may help yourself to fallen wood. Other things to note The cottage uses rainwater for all cleaning, bathing and drinking needs. Please be waterwise and use responsibly. Please, do not light any fires on the grounds. The firewood is for the fireplace only, no outdoor fires permitted at any time.
