Sitting amongst the vines the 3 bedroom house is walking distance to many of the fantastic winery cellar doors of Coonawarra. Situated just 2kms from Penola guests can enjoy peace and privacy without the isolation. The house boasts a fully equipped kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms and a wood fire for the colder months. Great for an intimate weekend for two or a fun getaway with friends, the house can sleep up to 8 guests. The space The Winemakers House at The Blok Coonawarra is a fully self-contained house with the following facilities/inclusions; - Full kitchen with large gas cooker with electric oven, perfect for cooking up a feast. - 8 Seater dining table. - Lounge area with slow combustion fire to keep you cosy during winter. A TV with Chromecast as well as games and puzzles. - Contemporary bathroom with separate bath and underfloor heating. - Bedroom 1 has a king size bed as well as clothes storage. - Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed with built-in wardrobe. - Bedroom 3 has a queen size bed and clothes storage. - Private study with desk and chair as well as queen innerspring fold out bed. - A washing machine for your convenience. - Powder room/second toilet. - Free wifi available throughout the whole house. - All linen and towels as well as basic toiletries, such as soap, body wash and shampoo/conditioner. - Plenty of car parking available. - Milk, Tea and Nespresso pod coffee machine with pods (we recommended that you bring your favourite if you have any as selection varies). - Breakfast provisions for your first morning, eggs (laid by our beautiful resident chickens), bacon and bread are provided for your convenience. There is also a small selection of cereal as well as some pantry staples (salt, pepper, olive oil etc). - A bottle of Blok Coonawarra Wine is included (if you have a preference to white or red please let us know at the time of booking) as well as a local treat. There are additional bottles of wine in the wine rack for sale at 10% off retail price. Guest access Guests have full access to the self-contained house to use as their own for the duration of their stay. Other things to note Complimentary wine tasting - We offer guests a complimentary wine tasting in our cellar door. We do require bookings as our cellar door is currently by appointment only. We will make every effort to work within your timeframe but this can't be guaranteed. Children - We have listed The Winemakers House as unsuitable for children. We are not against children staying however there are some safety concerns. We are happy to discuss these concerns with any families that would like to book The Winemakers House.
