Cabin in bush setting on city fringe

A private bedroom cabin opening onto a private deck surrounded by trees and garden. Cabin has WIFI and a desk. Bathroom in separate cabin also accessible from the deck. Comfortable chairs both inside the cabin and on the deck to sit and admire the city and harbour view. Located in the popular Brooklyn Village. 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk into the city. Bus stop right outside the gate. The space The space is a bedroom cabin and adjacent bathroom cabin in a garden setting with a private deck area. There is a heater and electric blanket in the cabin so you can keep warm on colder nights. There is no heating or electricity in the bathroom so can be cold in winter. The space is really only suitable for two people but if you need to squeeze in an extra we can provide a single mattress on the floor. We do NOT provide breakfast, coffee/tea making facilities or cooking facilities. There are several eating options within walking distance. Guest access Parking is on the street. There are about 25 steps up from the street to the property. This is very common in Wellington due to the hilly geography. Turn right at the top of the steps to access the cabin. Cabin will be open; guests welcome to self check-in. Our family will be in the main house so often available to assist with any queries (however sometimes are out or away). During your stay We are happy to help guests with any questions regarding what to see and how best to get around (but sometimes we might be at work so might not see guests). We enjoy having a chat with our guests but also respect their privacy. Other things to note Our cat Alby is very friendly and likes interacting with people. If you do not like (or are allergic to) cats please let us know and we will try to keep him at a distance. Please do not smoke on the property, indoors or outdoors. If you want to arrive earlier please let us know as we can sometimes accommodate early check in especially if there has not been a guest staying the night prior. If we cannot offer an early check in time, you are welcome to drop off luggage at any time and come back later in the day once we have serviced the room.
