The space This 100 acre farm property and home has been in our family for over 170 years. Our Great Great Grandfather came to Canada from Ireland during the Potato Famine, and purchased the house and property. It is a solid limestone home with original features. It is a 4 bedroom house with sleeping for 10. It has a propane gas stove in the kitchen. Electric heat and a propane 'woodstove' in the kitchen for additional heat. BBQ, table and chairs to enjoy the backyard. Or sit on the front porch under the shade of the trees and watch the world go by. The house is 10 minute drive to the Village of Sydenham where groceries, a liquor store, Trousdales General Store. Swim in Sydenham Lake at The Point. Enjoy a burger while you cool off. The property is 2 km from the TransCanada trail for biking, hiking and walking. Other things to note STRICT NO SMOKING POLICY ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. Maximum guests is 6 including children and infants. Our property is not appropriate for events. The maximum stay is 30 days. Longer term stays from Nov 1- April 30 will have an additional charge for propane (heat source)
