The house is only 200 m from the beach of Lago di Mergozzo, one of the cleanest lakes in Europe with crystal clear water. The town center with various shopping facilities, bars, restaurant and train station is only about 500 m along the well-kept waterfront promenade. From the terrace there is a beautiful view of the waterfall at the house, the lake and the surrounding mountains. The more famous (but less recommended for swimming) Lake Maggiore is only 5 km away. Other things to note The west side of Lake Maggiore (Piedmont) is much more attractive and varied than the east side (Lombardy) and thus an Eldorado for nature lovers and outdoor activists. Italy's largest national park, Val Grande, is right outside the front door and the highest peaks in Switzerland (Dufourspitze) and Italy (Monte Rosa) can be reached via the Valle Anzasca. A parking space for cars up to about 4.40 m is right by the house. Larger vehicles should be parked in the nearest public parking lots (200 m and 250 m). In the house, there are a total of 2 residential units. Access to apartment 2 on the upper floor is via the terrace. Bed linen (€10/set) and towels (€5/set) can be provided on request for a fee.
